The role of self-expression on the continuous understanding of the intention to play online games with the mediation of perceived risk and self-adjustment in student athletes of sports olympiads.

Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to investigate the role of self-expression on the continuous perception of the intention to play online games by mediating the perceived risk and self-adjustment in sports olympiad athletes of the country's students. The research method is descriptive and was conducted in the field. The statistical population of the research included the student athletes of the Olympiads of the country's top sports talents. Due to the unlimited statistical population, 384 people were selected according to Morgan's table, and a multi-stage cluster sampling method was used. The research tools included Batman Existence Tool Questionnaire (2005), Daviso et al.'s Intention to Play Online Games Questionnaire (2013), Perez et al.'s Perceived Risk Questionnaire (2013) and Davis, Long and Gautam's Self-Conformity Questionnaire (2013) were used. For reliability, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was obtained for existence tool (α=0.79), intention to play online games (α=0.81), perceived risk (α=0.80) and self-consistency (α=0.82). . The results of the research showed that self-expression has a significant effect on the continuous perception of the intention to play online games, and perceived risk and self-consistency play a mediating role in the relationship between self-expression and the continuous perception of the intention to play online games. Therefore, it is recommended that coaches and families use online games for the personal development of teenagers and young people, and with a positive attitude towards these types of games, they provide the basis for the growth of the tools of existence and self-adjustment in athletes.
