Abstract :
Relationship between couples is the most important issue in family consolidation. The present study was conducted with the aim of comparing the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy based on compassion with the communication model based on setir on the psychological well-being and emotional dyslexia of couples with marital conflict. Method: The statistical population consisted of all couples with marital conflicts who were referred to counseling centers in Tehran in 1402. The research method was a semi-experimental type of unequal control group with pre-test, post-test, and follow-up. They were randomly matched in two groups of 15 people. The research tools were Riff's psychological well-being questionnaire (1989) and Toronto's dyslexia scale (1985). For the first experimental group, the Setyr communication model and for the second experimental group cognitive behavioral therapy based on compassion was implemented for 8 sessions. Data analysis was done with SPSS software through analysis of variance with two-way repeated measurement. Findings: The results showed that cognitive behavioral therapy based on compassion and Satir communication pattern led to an increase in psychological well-being and a decrease in emotional dyslexia of couples with marital conflict (P<0.001) Also, the effectiveness of these two approaches, to cognitive behavioral therapy based on compassion has been more effective. Conclusion: It can be said that the Setyr communication model and cognitive-behavioral therapy focusing on negative cognitions and their correction leads to emotional and behavioral changes, which is effective in improving their psychological well-being and emotional dyslexia.
