Abstract :
Abstract Realism is a literary school which spread in Europe and America in 1850 – 1880. Its most important characteristic is that it considers man as a social being and seeks the roots of his behavior, whether good or bad, in the society. Realism entered the Persian literature through Iranians' familiarity with the West in an imitative and concordant with the constitution revolution; and the poets and writers took advantage of this school in creating their works. Persian women poets such as Forough Farrokhzad used it in composing their social poetry. The present article, with the analytic – descriptive method, and by considering the impact of the different governments which had on the social frequencies till post revolution, is going to study some of the realistic social frequencies in Forough's poetry. The consequence of this research is that the element of woman relying on fighting against desperation, espousing the justice and advocating the right of man were of the most important frequencies of social realism which were of significant elements in the women's movement in this Persian lady's poetry.
