Abstract :
Abstract Violence against the women, is one of the instruments of men's dominance on women, by which patriarchal hegemony has been able to keep them in minor or major levels under the control . Therefore, there are meaningful conflict and contrast between men and women which has made some of the contemporary writers expound the social groups, dual contrast of man and woman and encroachment of men and women in their writings. Regarding this, we decided to survey several kinds of violations and dominance of men over women in the novel of " the Tooba and the meaning of night " from Shahr Noush Parsipour. We've tried to analyze the problem of violence and the components of patriarchal system in a descriptive-analytic method in this research paper. The results of the study indicate that the writer of the novel has always justified the traditional look at the society and illustrated the women under the tyranny spear of men. Men want to lead the women toward independence, lack of identity by mental, corporal, verbal, economical and sexual violence. Therefore, one can, in this novel, be aware of the ideological dominance of men on the apparent meanness of women.
