Abstract :
The research "effectiveness of treatment with narrative therapy approach on dimensions of metacognitive beliefs and dimensions of social competence of sexually abused adolescent girls aged 9 to 13" was conducted. According to the collection of practical data, and in terms of the purpose of the research, it is based on a semi-experimental research of the pre-test-post-test type. The statistical population of all sexually abused children who were referred to counseling service centers of the Association of Parents and Teachers of Alborz province. The statistical population of the study is a sample of 30 People in two groups of 15 people were replaced by random sampling method in two groups of 15 people. The results of the correlation analysis show the effect of teaching the cognitive behavioral approach and the narrative therapy approach on positive metacognitive beliefs that the teaching of the narrative therapy approach had a greater effect than the cognitive-behavioral approach training. Also, the results showed that the proposed approach has a significant effect on negative metacognitive beliefs. Also, the results of this research show that the teaching of the narrative therapy approach has a positive and significant effect on the dimensions of positive social competences, and that the teaching of the narrative therapy approach has had a significant impact.
