Innovative development of small and medium-sized manufacturing businesses (SMEs) in a mixed method

Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to present a model for the impact of technology innovation on the development of small and medium businesses in Golestan industrial town. In the qualitative part, content analysis and fuzzy Delphi method to determine the dimensions and components of research and in the quantitative part, Survey and Smart Pls software were used to examine the relationship between research variables. The sample size of 198 manufacturing companies with Krejcie and Morgan formula, randomly selected and data collection with a researcher-made questionnaire. The results showed that the greatest impact on the development of small and medium businesses including financial criteria, value added, external environment, processes, human resources, exports, high-tech production, products and innovations are related to company performance, and innovation in technology includes Entrepreneurs' innovation capability, technology infrastructure, innovation culture, and government support for technological innovation have a positive effect on the performance of manufacturing companies.
