Abstract :
There is a kind benevolence as well as affection concerning Imam Ali in Molavi’s Masnavi. The present article displays the portrait of Imam Ali through quotations from him. In his poems, especially in Masnavi, Molavi quotes from Imam Ali’s hadiths and excerpts of his life story. This is not for reference purpose, but rather it is suggestive of an expression of reverence and admiration towards him. Moreover, in these poems, Molavi’s point of view and his mystical ideas can be traced.
