Abstract :
Themeology, as one of the attractive and important approaches of comparative literature, examines the evolution of a pattern or theme in several narrative-literary texts. One of the basic themes in various cultures is the theme of sin, which can be found in the works of human civilization. In this research, the research and analysis of three Iranian Shahriars - Jamshid, Fereydoun and Kaus - from the thematic point of view, an attempt was made to justify the loss of immortality and immortality of these Shahriars. This article examines the concept of sin in Zoroastrian and Pahlavi texts in the face of social norms as well as in opposition to the concepts of holiness and divine in order to reveal the hidden and unconscious layers in the discussed texts in the field of sin. Pahlavi texts are the most manifestation of the expansion of the theme of sin, which has been expanded or regenerated according to the time conditions and the needs of the society. Since the concept of sin in the present study was defined in opposition to the two concepts of norm and sacred concepts, the sin of the discussed mythical princes was contrasted with these two definitions. Finally, the current research, which is based on the theory of the structure of repetition of themes and carried out with an analytical-comparative method, shows that the traditions accepted by the society and the holy and divine laws in Iranian society are in the same category.
