Abstract :
AbstractMany development planners and policymakers also mention the tourism industry as the main pillar of sustainable development. In this regard, tourism can also play an effective role through systematic planning and identification of advantages and disadvantages. In developing cities and villages and as a result of national development and diversification into a national economy. Tourism is one of the major activities with economic, social and environmental consequences in cities. The tourism development policy is an approach that the city, with its emphasis on, can minimize its negative impacts, while maximizing its benefits. This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the role of a suitable economic strategy for tourism development in the study area. The research method is descriptive-analytical and with the purpose of application. This research has two aspects of innovation. One is that the combination of variables used in this topic has not been tested in this community so far, and the second innovation is that the statistical community of the research subject (residents of Bandar Abbas city) is different from previous research. In this research, a survey method and a questionnaire were used to collect the information. In this regard, the statistical population of this research was residents of Bandar Abbas. In this study, simple and accessible random sampling method was used to calculate sample size. The sample size was estimated to be 100. The data analysis method was used for statistical analysis using SPSS software and Chi-square test. The results of the research indicate that the expansion of the transport network for tourists will increase employment, increase the recreational facilities of the region will increase employment, and increase the safety of tourists will increase employment.Keywords: Tourism Economics, Sustainable Urban Development, Bandar Abbas.
