The effect of social capital on waste recycling in Qazvin

Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of social capital on waste recycling in Qazvin. The present study is applied in terms of purpose. And based on how the data are collected, this type of research is a descriptive-survey type with the technique of structural equations. The statistical population of the present study is citizens aged 18 years and older living in Qazvin. 500 people were selected. According to the population size of each region and according to the geographical map of each region, data and age of respondents have been collected by quota sampling method.Data were analyzed using Spearman test and structural modeling in SPSS and PLS software. The main data collection tools in this study are two researcher-made questionnaires on social capital and waste recycling. The results showed that social participation, social trust, social security and social cohesion have a significant effect on waste recycling.
