        AbstractIn this paper, a numerical study of quantum transport in a disordered four-terminal graphene nanodevice is investigated based on the Landauer approach. The effects of impurity on transmission coefficient of the electron injected into the system are studied using tight-binding model. In this manner, we emphasize that when the disorder density is sufficiently large, the transmission coefficients and the current reduce due to multiscattering phenomenon. We have found that the perfectly conducting channel develops in four-terminal device in its zigzag edge if the range of impurity gets exponentially wider. The theoretical results obtained can be a base for the development in designing graphene nanodevice. تفاصيل المقالة

        AbstractTheoretical calculations are carried out for studying soliton’s reflection and transmission in an inhomogeneous plasma comprising ions, two temperature electrons and negatively charged dust grains. Using reductive perturbation technique, relevant modified KdV equations are derived for the incident, reflected and transmitted solitons. Then a coupled equation is obtained based on these mKdV equations, which is solved for the reflected soliton under the use of solutions of mKdV equations corresponding to the incident and transmitted solitons. Based on the ratio of amplitudes of reflected and incident solitons, reflection coefficient is examined under the effect of dust grain density; the same is done for the transmission coefficient which is the ratio of amplitudes of transmitted and incident solitons. The transmission of the solitons becomes weaker under the effect of stronger magnetic field and higher dust density. However, this leads to the stronger reflection of the soliton. تفاصيل المقالة

        3 - بررسی تغییرات شرایط حرارتی حاکم برساختمان‌های مسکونی در نیمه دوم دوران قاجار با استفاده از روش کارکردی

        زمینه و هدف: پژوهش حاضر تغییرات شرایط حرارتی حاکم بر ساختمان های مسکونی در ربع سوم و چهارم دوران قاجار را مورد بررسی قرار می دهد. بر این اساس سوال های زیر در انجام این پژوهش مد نظر می باشند: 1) آیا هماهنگی یا سطوح معنی داری بین شرایط حرارتی بناهای مسکونی در این دوره 80 أکثر
        زمینه و هدف: پژوهش حاضر تغییرات شرایط حرارتی حاکم بر ساختمان های مسکونی در ربع سوم و چهارم دوران قاجار را مورد بررسی قرار می دهد. بر این اساس سوال های زیر در انجام این پژوهش مد نظر می باشند: 1) آیا هماهنگی یا سطوح معنی داری بین شرایط حرارتی بناهای مسکونی در این دوره 80 ساله مشاهده می شود؟ 2) آیا این تفاوت ها نسبت به دوره زمانی ساخت بنا تغییراتی به خود دیده است؟ 3) آیا نابسامانی در ساختار معماری ایران در این دوران در ساختمان های مسکونی و به لحاظ شرایط حرارتی نیز حاکم است؟ روش بررسی: در این راستا تعداد 60 بنای مسکونی به نسبت مساوی از سه شهر کاشان، اصفهان و یزد طوری انتخاب شده اند که در دو دوره 40 ساله و به تعداد مساوی قرارگیرند. روش تحقیق در این پژوهش استفاده از روش کارکردی در محاسبات شرایط حرارتی است که برای تحلیل یافته ها از شاخص آماری میانگین و انحراف معیار با فاصله اطمینان 95% (2SD) و خطای مطالعه (P<0.05) استفاده شده است. همچنین برای مقایسه میانگین کمیت های جوامع مورد بررسی از آزمون (T Test) استفاده شده است و نهایتاً نمودارها به کمک نرم افزار excel استخراج گردید. یافته ها: نتایج آماری نشان دهنده اختلاف معنی داری در جهت کاهش قابل ملاحظه کمیت های ضرایب انتقال سطحی و حجمی و نسبت H/Ĥ در ساختمان های مسکونی ربع چهارم نسبت به ربع سوم دوران قاجار وجود دارد؛ بدین مفهوم که ساختمان های مورد بررسی در ربع سوم دوران قاجار حائز شرایط حرارتی نامناسب تری بوده اند. تفاصيل المقالة

        Reflection and transmission of plane waves between two initially stressed thermoelastic half-spaces with orthotropic type of anisotropy is studied. Incidence of a SV-type wave from the lower half-space is considered and the amplitude ratios of the reflected and transmitted SV-wave, P-wave and thermal wave are obtained by using appropriate boundary conditions. Numerical computation for a particular model is performed and graphs are plotted to study the effect of angle of incidence of the wave and the initial stress parameters of the half-spaces. From the graphical results, it is found that the modulus of reflection and transmission coefficients of the thermal wave is very less in comparison to reflection and transmission coefficients of P- and SV-waves. It is also observed that for vertical incidence of SV-wave we have only reflected and refracted SV-waves and there is no reflected or refracted P and thermal waves, whereas for horizontal incidence of SV-wave there exists only reflected SV-wave and no other reflected or transmitted wave exists. Moreover, it is found that all the reflection and transmission coefficients are strongly affected by the initial stress parameters of the both half-spaces. تفاصيل المقالة

        Microwave absorbing property of composites containing Ag nanoparticles filled multiwalled carbon nanotube buckypaper (Ag-BP) has been investigated. Buckypaper doped with silver was prepared by direct dispersion and filtration method. From the low temperature resistivity measurement it was found that increasing doping level decreases the electrical conductivity of the buckypaper. 30 wt. % and 40 wt. % of Ag-BP samples shows the maximum transmission coefficient, with very high conductivity. The results demonstrate that microwave absorption of Ag-BP was attributed only due to the dielectric loss rather than other losses.The absorption peak frequency of the Ag/MWCNTs BP can be controlled easily in the presence of Ag nanoparticles into the CNT mats. تفاصيل المقالة
