Introduction: Achieving equitable and sustainable development in society without recognizing the position of rural women will be unattainable. The reality is that women can be future leaders in local politics, yet various constraints, such as discriminatory practices at work and low levels of skills, reduce a woman's potential for empowerment.A society will achieve appropriate development in the social sector when its women enjoy an appropriate social status, and this is of great importance in villages, given the important role of women in the household and economic sectors, etc.
Research Aim: The aim of the present study is to investigate the position of modern rural management in raising awareness and promoting the social status of women in Palanganeh Rural District, Javanroud County.
Methodology: This research can be considered a type of applied-developmental research, and the study method is descriptive-analytical. The statistical population of the study includes all heads of households in rural areas of Javanrood County, 4812 people. The sample size was selected based on the Cochran formula as 358 people in a random available method. The research tool includes a questionnaire with 45 questions in four variables (practical belonging, emotional belonging and social belonging and tourism development), with 5, 6, 8, 6, 8 and 12 questions, respectively. SPSS 22 and AMOS software, and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, structural equations were used to analyze the data.
Results: The results showed that in general, modern rural management has an effect on raising awareness and improving the social status of women, and among them, modern rural management has the greatest effect on improving the social status of women with an impact factor of 0.37.
Conclusions: Therefore, rural management must provide conditions for various trainings at different levels for women and take advantage of its position in providing various services and inform women about their position in rural development in social, economic, cultural and environmental dimensions. They must also be informed about the rights they should have at the community and family levels, which can be achieved through the functions and actions of modern rural management.
