چکیده انقلاب اسلامی ایران ظرفیت‌های مناسبی دارد که می‌تواند بستر همگرایی کشورهای اسلامی را تسهیل بخشد. در این تحقیق تلاش شده است تا از طریق دستاوردهای انقلاب اسلامی، نخست ظرفیت های انقلاب اسلامی مشخص و سپس چگونگی تسری این ظرفیت ها به کشورهای اسلامی مورد مطالعه قرار گیرد. از این رو تلاش شده است، با تلفیق نظریه همگرایی و نظریه پخش چارچوب مناسب در این زمینه طراحی شود. مبانی معرفت‌شناسی و هستی‌شناسی و انسان‌شناسی، تلفیق دین و سیاست، تأسیس نظام سیاسی مردم‌سالار، استکبارستیزی و مقابله با نظام سلطه و ... برخی از ظرفیت‌هایی است که در این جا به آن اشاره شده است. همچنین، استفاده از ظرفیت نهادها و سازمان‌هایی چون؛ سازمان همکاریهای اسلامی، سازمان فرهنگ و ارتباطات اسلامی، کنفرانس وحدت اسلامی، مجمع تقریب مذاهب اسلامی، دیپلماسی عمومی در وزارت امور خارجه و سازمان‌های مرتبط و... برخی از ابزاری است که می‌تواند به عنوان مسیر پخش ظرفیت‌های انقلاب اسلامی به کشورهای دیگر باشد.
