Watershed management has different effects on the amount of runoff and sediment and alteration ofhydrological features in a watershed. In this study, the effects of watershed management on runoff was investigated in the Anbaranchaywatershed. For this purpose, the topography data in format of a digital elevation model, land use, soil hydrological groups and watershed managemetrigeon, and also using Landsat satellite images (5 and 8) and the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) changes of land cover in two periods before and after the watershed managementwere used in order to calculate the rate of CN, andby usingthe SCS method, runoff production in the form of rasterdatais modeling. The results showed that watershed management increases rate of NDVI index and its caused the increasing of chlorophyll, as a result it reduces runoff production especially in upstream of watershedAnbaranchay.aslo, It increases the density of vegetation and CN rate of watershed.
