Optimal placement of scattered generator sources in the main and secondary feeders of radial grid reduces energy losses, releases the capacity of existing feeders and improves the existing voltage profile. Electro-mechanical oscillations are produced in the machines of an interconnected power network, followed by a disturbance or due to high power transfer through weak tie lines.
