ملخص المقالة :
زمینه و هدف: پیچکهای میان مقیاس نه تنها به جهت دینامیکی اهمیت دارند، بلکه از نظر اقلیم شناسی، برهمکنش هوا-دریا و محیط زیست نیز از اهمیت ویژهای برخوردارند. از آنجاکه خلیج فارس به دلیل وجود میدان های نفتی در معرض آلودگی های نفتی می باشد، تجزیه و تحلیل نقش عواملی مانند پیچک های میان مقیاس در انتشار آلودگی در خلیج فارس بسیار مهم است.روش بررسی: در این تحقیق از داده های ارتفاع سطح دریا مربوط به سری داده های آنالیز شده مرجعAviso (سال های 2010 تا 2014) استفاده شد و پیچکهای میان مقیاس براساس روشی مبتنی بر ارتفاع سطح دریا مورد شناسایی و ردیابی قرار گرفتند و نقشههای مربوطه رسم شد. این روش موثرتر از دیگر روشهای رایج ردیابی پیچکها میباشد.یافته ها: با مطالعه محل شکل گیری پیچک ها، ضریب پخش پیچکی نیز محاسبه گردید و نتایج حاصل از مقادیر محاسبه شده نشان داد که پیچکهای ایجاد شده در فصل بهار دارای پهنهای بزرگ و سرعت بالا میباشند اما پیچکهای متولد شده در فصل زمستان دارای پهنهای کوچک و سرعتی کم هستند.بحث و نتیجه گیری: پیچک های واقع در شمال و جنوب خلیج فارس به ترتیب به سمت غرب و شرق خلیج فارس حرکت کرده و این مهم منطبق بر نتایج دیگر پژوهش ها است. محدوده بیشترین فعالیت پیچک ها در بخش های ورودی خلیج فارس از سمت تنگه هرمز و متمایل به سواحل ایران و همچنین شمال غربی خلیج فارس می باشد و در فصل های تابستان و زمستان بیشترین تعداد پیچک و فصل های بهار و پاییز کمترین تعداد پیچک حضور دارند.
