Journal of Nature and Spatial Sciences (JONASS) ISSN: 2783-1604, (J. nat. spatial sci.) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scientific research work in the broad field of spatial sciences.

JONASS was approved by the 7th Commission of the Central Organization of the Islamic Azad University in the summer of 2020 (License No. 21319, dated 22/02/1399 AH) and was indexed in (link).
The aim of the journal is to obtain valuable national and international indexes by publishing the second and third issues.

Article Processing Charges (APC)
JONASS doesn't have any Article Processing Charges (APCs).
Plagiarism Policy
JONASS uses DupliChecker software to avoid plagiarism in published papers. This web-based software rates the manuscripts with percent. For example, if a manuscript has 20% plagiarism it means that 20% of the manuscript's words and sentences come from other sources that are suspected of plagiarism. All the reports from DupliChecker will be checked by a human operator to avoid mistakes. According to the policy of this journal in facing plagiarism: a Manuscript will enter the external peer review if be its plagiarism below 20%.

As JONASS is an Open Access journal authors are entitled to make their article publicly available according to the terms of the “CC-BY-4.0” license: Authors who have published under a “CC-BY-4.0” license may share and distribute their articles on non-commercial websites and repositories such as iau, sana,. Also, one repository of this journal is Google Scholar.
Re-use guidelines for open access content
When posting, distributing, or reusing Open Access articles, the journal should be clearly attributed as the original place of publication and correct citation details should be given. Authors should also deposit the URL/DOI of their published article in any repository, in addition to the Version of Record.
When making their article available according to the terms of their Open Access license, we strongly encourage authors to deposit the Version of Record. This will guarantee that the definitive version is readily available to those accessing your article from such repositories and means that your article is more likely to be cited correctly.
Journal Archiving
JONASS creates a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. Also, Magiran and Civilica, the national library of scholarly journals in Iran, protect and preserve all the academic publications in all journals. The JONASS uploads all published articles on both servers to keep forever online. Also, JONASS provides access to archived material through JONASS archives and IAU archives. Manuscripts are the parts of an open archive that are made freely available from the JONASS website after a certain period, which begins from the final publication date of the manuscript. All articles published with open access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download. Permitted reuse is defined by a Creative Commons user license called "Creative Common Attribution". In addition, JONASS retains the copyright of published articles, which are released under a “CC-BY-4.0” enabling the unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction of an article in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.
Double-Blind Peer Review Policy
This journal uses a double-blind peer review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. To facilitate this, authors need to ensure that their manuscripts are prepared in a way that does not give away their identity. Also, please include the following separately:
Title page (with author details): This should include the title, authors' names, affiliations, acknowledgments, and any Declaration of Interest statement, and a complete address for the corresponding author including an e-mail address.
Anonymized manuscript (no author details): The main body of the paper (including the references, figures, tables, and any acknowledgments) should not include any identifying information, such as the authors' names or affiliations.
Conflict of Interest
A conflict of interest statement must be placed before the reference list in the manuscript resembling below: "The authors declare that there are no conflicts of interest regarding the publication of this manuscript".
Advertising policy
All advertisements and commercially sponsored publications are independent of editorial decisions. JONASS does not endorse any product or service marked as an advertisement or promoted by a sponsor in JONASS does publications. Editorial content is not compromised by commercial or financial interests, or by any specific arrangements with advertising clients or sponsors.
