The purpose of present study to investigate the mediating role of psychological capital in relationship (self- efficacy, hope, optimism, resiliency) in relationship between psychological control parenting and flourishing. Participants were 298 undergraduate students (158 women and 140 men) of dehaghan islamic azad university selected by random multistage cluster sampling method. For data gathering, dependency-oriented and achievement-oriented psychological control scale (DAPCS) (Soenens et al, 2010), psychological capital questionnaires (PCQ) (Luthans & Avolio, 2007), and flourishing scale (FS) (Diener et al, 2010) were used. The findings showed that psychological control parenting were significant negative and significant predictors of flourishing. The psychological control parenting could predicted flourishing negatively and significantly. Psychological capital played a mediating role between variables of psychological control parenting and flourishing. According to the present research findings, it can be concluded that increasing psychological control parenting leads to children reduce psychological capital and less flourishing.
