Cysticercus tenuicollis is the larval stage of the tapeworm Taenia. Taenia is a tapeworm that primarily infects dogs and other canids as its definitive hosts, and various ungulates (such as sheep, goats, and pigs) as intermediate hosts. The larval stage, Cysticercus tenuicollis, develops in the intermediate hosts. This study examined the causes of death in 14 lamb flocks of Mazandaran province, which were infected with acute cysticercosis. The causative agent was Cysticercus tenuicollis, the larval stage of the tapeworm Taenia hydatigena. This study examined instances of acute visceral cysticercosis in 14 lamb flocks located within Mazandaran province. This parasitic infection was associated with mortality rates varying between 20% and 45% among the flocks. Complete postmortem examination showed the presence of Cysticercus tenuicollis in internal organs such as the liver, lung, heart, and diaphragm of lambs. Examination of the feces of herding dogs showed the presence of eggs and gravid proglottids consistent with that of Taenia hydatigena. Praziquantel was used for the treatment of both infected lambs and herding dogs. Based on our findings, it was concluded that the main source of infection was the infected stray dogs. پرونده مقاله

L-carnitine as an endogenous amino acid is very effective in preventing programmed cell death. Also, as an antioxidant, it protects the DNA structure against reactive oxygen species. L-carnitine also increases the activity and amount of antioxidant enzymes. In this research, immediately after Islamic slaughter, 20 pairs of mature ram testicles were collected from Urmia industrial slaughterhouse. The samples were transferred to the faculty laboratory in a cool box. After cleaning and drying the testes from blood, a cut was made in the areas without capillaries on the tail of the epididymis. The sperms were transferred to microtubes containing HTF (Human Tubal Fluid) culture medium with 10% bovine serum albumin. After preparing a dilution of 30 to 50 million sperm per ml of HTF, 5 levels of L-carnitine (2-4-6-8-10 mM) were added to the medium. Then the samples were kept in the refrigerator at 5 degrees Celsius for up to 36 hours. At 1, 12, 24, and 36 hours, sperm motility pattern was evaluated with CASA. Statistical results showed that the amino acid L-carnitine at the level of 6-8-10 mmol and in 24 and 36 hours caused a clear and significant increase in the motility indices of ram epididymal sperm compared to the control (p<0.05). پرونده مقاله

Objective: Helicobacter pylori neutrophil activating protein (HP-NAP) is one of the important proteins of Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori). HP-NAP has immunomodulatory properties and directs allergic responses from Th2 to Th1. The aim of this study is the molecular identification of HP-NAP gene native to Iran. Method: The native strain of H.pylori was purchased from the Pasteur Institute, then specific urease test was performed, as well as gram staining and observation under the microscope, and in order to identify HP-NAP in native bacteria, this was done by PCR method. Finally, the PCR product should be electrophoresed to detect the HP-NAP gene. Results: After bacterial staining and microscopic observation, bent gram-negative bacteria were observed. Also, the result of the urease test was seen with a change in urea reagent (phenol red), which indicated H.pylori. The result of the PCR test and perform electrophoresis, the 260 bp band related it was the HP-NAP gene was seen in comparison with ladder 100. Conclusion: According to the study conducted and the confirmation of the presence of this protein in the structure of native bacteria, as well as previous studies in different regions of the world and observing the effects of this protein as an immunomodulatory of the immune system, we can hope that in the future this protein will be used as a It has the potential to control and treat allergic diseases, especially allergic Asthma. پرونده مقاله
