Prediction of the waves’ specifications that is one of the key factors effective on transformation ofcoasts, production of renewable energies and design of marine structures, has always been importante.Height of the waves is one of the most important and effective parameters of the wave. Differentfactors are effective in variation of the waves’ height. In this research, variation in waves height underchange of universal climate and heating – that as one of the consequences of collection of greenhousegases, isconsideredas one of the most important environmental challenges in the world – has beenstudied. The Effect of weather changes in variation of waves height using the ecological data gainedfrom CGCM2 Model that is one of the types of GCM Models, was investigated under two scripts: A2and B2. In order to predict the waves height using the step by step regression method out of weathervariants stimulated in CGCM2 Ecological Model, those sets of variants that had the most correlationwith variation of waves height, have been selected. Two ANN and DWNN Models were made in orderto study the relationship between the variants of climate and waves height, and DWNN Model that is acombination of ANN Model and Wavelet Theory, showed better and more accurate results. The resultsfor years 2089 to 2100 express an increase from 10 to 46 cm at minimum of daily average of wavesheight and also increase from 10 to 36 cm at maximum of daily average of wave, gained in the regionof Chabahar. With consideration to noticeable increase of average of waves height, this subject mustbe considered in different affairs such as management of coastal regions. Manuscript profile

This study modeled the effects of hydraulic dredging on the lower Karun river in Ahvaz range to thevillage is Farsyan . using software 4.1 HEC-RAS, one-dimensional model of the flow field wassimulated . After entering the information into the model and its calibration based on the selected, design flow model was implemented to extract the water surface elevation levels and spreading areaswere measured . The river cross sections have been modified in a way that will solve the problem. Then adjusted based on grades , calculate the approximate volume of dredging and dredgingperformance optimization strategies were presented . According to the tables referenced in the text, theresults indicate that dredging have little effect on the reduction of water surface elevation in the flowwith the return period. however, the results indicated an increase in the flow rate of dredging. Nowadays the study of regional groundwater resources, because of draught ,their optimal exploitation, and reducing their pollution is a vital matter. A proper way to prevent the pollution of undergroundwaters is to locate vulnerable spots and to conduct an efficient exploitation of the ground. Using thepresent models is very essential to locate and study about vulnerable spots. For this study, GIS andDRASTIC methods were applied to study the pollution potential in Kohnak aquifer. DRASTIC modelis including seven layer : Depth of water, net Recharge , Aquifer media , Soil media, Topography ,Impact of vadose zone and hydraulic Conductivity. these seven layers were prepared according towell exploitation logs and other data pertaining to the soil and the rat of rainfalls by using GISsoftware and the DRASTIC index (99.96-152.56) was calculated .Therefore the results show that theresearch area in some parts have high vulnerability classes while the other parts were characteristizedby low vulnerability classes. Finally, it was proposed in areas with high vulnerability to possiblecreation of a facility's potential to release pollutants to the aquifer such as refineries, industrial parks, etc., must be avoided. As Well , the use of chemical fertilizers in this area should be limited to preventfurther damage to the aquifer . Manuscript profile

One of the most important issues in water supply for agriculture or drinking is sediment control.Sedimentation in water conveyance channels reduces transmission efficiency. this study evaluated theefficiency of settling basin of Kamandan intake that is located in the village of Aligoodarz in Lorestanprovince. At first sample from water and sediment in inlet and outlet of settling basin in differentdischarge and sediment concentration of particles was determined by laboratory tests. Then thesediment trap efficiency of settling basins was calculated. Also the measured values of trap efficiencyare compared with efficiency values calculated by the mathematical models proposed by differentresearchers. The results show that the sediment trap efficiency of Kamandan basin calculated by Garde& Range model is closer to the value measured with the direct method. Therefore the Garde andRange model can estimate the sediment trap efficiency of Kamandan basin better than other models. Manuscript profile

Rivers are discussed as sources of water supply for various uses including agriculture, industry anddrinking. Thus, monitoring the quality of these resources due to the recent drought and urban and ruraldevelopment is one of the important tasks in the field of environmental management. In this study, nine stations sampled seasonally the Karoon river, Dez, Karkheh in a one-year period from October2010 to September 2011 was conducted to coincide with cold and warm seasons. Parameters such astemperature, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, BOD and COD concentration of anionsand cations with original and microbial parameters were measured. The study used data from theNational Quality Indicators NSFWQI, Pollution Control Commission of India, the Ion ratios andWilcox index. Analysis of parameters on the basis NSFWQI index showed that In the second half ofthe season coincides with the period of high rainfall is high than 50, indicating that quality is bad.Classification of river water quality standards of the Central Pollution Control Commission of Indiais also roughly consistent with the results of NSFWQI. The results showed that the maximum ionconcentration of cation ions sodium –magnesium and chloride anion is the minimum concentration ofions. The classification was measured according to Wilcox index, the resulting quality of the waterwas used for irrigation and drainage for salinity control in the management of land. Manuscript profile

In a watershed, sediment arises due to the erosion and some factors such as pastures destruction, change users, no reasonable cultivation. That causes problems such as sedimentation in reservoirs andreduces their useful volume, reducing water quality in agricultural consumption; reduce the efficiencyof hydraulic structures and some other environmental problems. Changes in sediment load in a riverare an important parameter in water management projects and are an indicator to show the status ofsoil erosion and ecological conditions of the area. The estimations of the sediment load are used in awide range of issues such as designing reservoirs, sediment transport in rivers, determining the effectsof watershed management and environmental protection. This study is denoted to Siahrood river inMazandaran province which is the main source of the water supply for a large part of the farm fieldsarea. In this project, by studying the efficiency of sediment rating curves and selecting the mostappropriate curve, the amount of suspended sediment load of the river is estimated perfectly. For thispurpose, the daily discharge of flow and corresponding statistics flow discharge–suspended sedimentdischarge, which are measured simultaneously in some days of year, during a statistical period of 13years (from 1998-99 to 2010-11), from the only hydrometric station in the main route of the river, isused. For the selection of appropriate curve, we use statistical indicators mean squares of error andcoefficient of determination was performed then, by drawing rating curves of linear, multilinear andmediocrity categories for this river, the rating curve of mediocrity categories with coefficient ofdetermination 93% was chosen as the appropriate sediment rating curve. Eventually, the amount ofsuspended loads is estimated by use from various methods discharge of flow. These methods containthe rating curve of mediocrity categories combined with the average daily water flow, averagemonthly water flow, flow duration curve and combination of monthly and daily average dischargemethod. Finally, the results of each four methods is compared together, and rating curve of mediocritycategories method and combining it with average daily water flow is selected as the most appropriatemethod. Moreover, the amount of suspended sediment load at hydrometric station is estimated about55855 tons per year by selected method. Manuscript profile

Thus, the economic value perunit of water applid to the side effects of excessive groundwater resources in this area has a utmostimportance. Payment for estimation of water on a suitable production function was estimated revenueproducers. Therefore in this study to estimate the economic value of water resources in agriculture, contingent valuation method (CVM) was used.
