        Torsion of elastic and poroelastic circular shaft of radially inhomogeneous, cylindrically orthotropic materials is studied with emphasis on the end effects example for extruder. To examine the conjecture of Saint-Venant’s torsion, we consider torsion of circular shaft with one end fixed and the other end free on which tractions that results in a pure torque are prescribed arbitrarily over the free end surface. Exact solutions that satisfy the prescribed boundary conditions point by point over the entire boundary surfaces are derived in a unified manner for cylindrically orthotropic shafts with or without radial inhomogeneity and for their coun- terparts of Saint-Venant’s torsion. Stress diffusion due to the end effect is examined in the light of the exact solutions.The present study enables us to assess Saint-Venant’s principle as applied to anisotropic, non-homogeneous poroelastic bodies in general and to evaluate the stress diffusion in torsion of radially inhomogeneous, cylindrically orthotropic cylinders in particular.         To enhance the mechanical properties in Ni-alumina nanocomposite coatings, it is necessary to increase the amount of alumina nanoparticles participation in nickel matrix. The aim of this study is the compassion investigation of Ni-Al2O3 nanocomposite coatings’ embedded nanoparticles affected by methanol addition to the electrolyte. In this investigation the composition of electrolyte was modified by adding methanol organic solvent. The coating were produced by pulse current and under ultrasonic agitation .After the electroplating process, the coatings’ cross sectioned and the amount of incorporated alumina nanoparticles and the morphology of each coating was analyzed by Energy X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) coupled with an Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The results showed that with adding the methanol organic solvent to the Watt’s solution the zeta potential of the nanoparticles increased from -4.1mV to +24.5mV and subsequently, the content of alumina reinforcement nanoparticles increased from 4.6vol. % to 11vol. %. It has been assumed that methanol surfactant may act as a surface agent that affected the hydrated layer on the nanoparticles and it promoted the co-deposition of nano alumina particles with nickel.         Purpose – The actual benefits of the AMT solidarity to the manufacturing system, classified as systemic, will only be acquired and identified if the current design and organizational structure become matchable with the change being introduced. The purpose of this paper is to present a review for the organizational design development related to AMT assumption and the green manufacturing (GM) involved in every aspect of manufacturing processes. The objective factors of decision-making problems are usually two: quality and cost, but as opinion of the GM, environmental impact (E) should also be considered. Design/methodology/approach – The developed theoretical composition integrates two refined and tested skeletons: the organizational design and the strategic selections of AMT. Qualitative analysis of success factors critical to AMT adoption and implementation has been dealt with extensively in the literature. Research limitations/implications – The generated framework is theoretical in nature and needs to be tested, although the theoretical exercise integrates tested frameworks. Practical implications – The understanding of the relationships between the process of AMT authorization and the required changes in the organization contribute to the acquisition of the benefits related to those technologies. Finally, this paper aims to address this issue, and a brief overview of the development process of AMSs. Manuscript profile

        Increasing material’s strength has been a significant matter since the beginning of engineering to up to now. It has always been paid attention by engineers. A variety of methods has been presented for increasing strength, stability, working range and material working life by development of engineering sciences and more identification on material properties and the material behavior, which are surrounded by some rules. Majority of these methods accompany disadvantages and restrictions, therefore, the studies in this field for modification of methods continue. One of the newest methods for this reason is the Sever Plastics Deformation Method (SPD). This method is based on creation of NANO materials increases some desirable properties such as strength, stability, resistance against corrosion and abrasion properties. Also, it prevents the reduction of other material properties like ductility, which is known an inevitable and undesirable process in majority of older strength’s methods and even is caused to increase it. Increasing of desired properties of metals, which were under this process, is very significant, so that the products of this process are named Super Metals.         Forging is a manufacturing process that consists of shaping the metal using localized compression forces. The blows are delivered with a hammer (often an electric hammer) or a die. In this paper, different methods of forging (multi-directional forging, hot forging, near-beta forging, multi-axial forging, direct powder forging, warm forging and ring forging) are discussed. The main problems that may be encountered by users are investigated. In some cases, the problems are being solved by researchers in which the process is presented. Afterwards, one of the main applications of forging process, blade forging, is discussed. Furthermore, forging process’s effect on mechanical properties of components has been investigated. In this review paper, readers could find important information about forging process and get familiar with some forging methods and their impact on the properties of the components.
