In the latest evaluation of publications by the Islamic Azad University in the year 2024, the quarterly "Land Use and Sustainable Development" obtained a score of 85, earning it an A rank

The quarterly "Journal of Land Use and Sustainable Development (JLUSD)" aims to foster the expansion and creation of scientific communication platforms between prominent domestic and international researchers. It covers topics such as "land use planning, sustainable development, geography and planning, development management, development economics, and environment," and is published with the permission of the 54th session of the journal accreditation committee in the field of humanities and arts at Islamic Azad University, according to letter No.ص/32/1009, dated 2024/03/10. The journal is published quarterly in English by the Islamic Azad University of Shiraz.
