About the journal
The quarterly journal "Land Use and Sustainable Development" aims to foster the expansion and creation of scientific communication platforms between prominent domestic and international researchers. It covers topics such as "land use planning, sustainable development, geography and planning, development management, development economics, and environment," and is published with the permission of the 54th session of the journal accreditation committee in the field of humanities and arts at Islamic Azad University, according to letter No. 32/1009, dated 1393/04/08 (Iranian calendar). The journal is published quarterly in English by the Islamic Azad University of Shiraz.
This journal operates based on pure judgment and provides open access to the public. It follows an open access policy, meaning there are no restrictions on accessing all published articles. It also adheres to ethical standards in publishing and complies with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and follows the executive regulations of the law for preventing and combating scientific misconduct. To protect the intellectual property rights of researchers and authors, the journal uses a similarity detection system for article evaluation.

we cordially ask the Persian language authors and researchers who are interested in submitting an article through the journal's website; first, register on the journal's website, second, send the full file of their articles in Farsi along with its extended abstract for the refereeing process, third, after accepting the article be coordinated with the executive manager of the journal, and finally, upload the final file of their article in English version on the publication's website.

According to the action of Journal of Land Use and Sustainable Development to be indexed in international databases, registration and display of free ORCID ID and academic email is required for all authors of articles (especially the responsible author). Therefore, respected authors are requested to obtain the ORCID researcher ID code before submitting the article to the journal.
