        حفظ پروفیل ولتاژ در سطح مناسب برای هرباس در سیستم قدرت، یک عامل کلیدی برای عملکرد مناسب تجهیزات سیستم قدرت بویژه در هنگام بروز اختلال است. با این حال، با توجه به عدم قطعیت بار و محدودیت در عملکرد شبکه، دستیابی به این هدف به یک چالش تبدیل شده است. پست های فشار قوی در کنترل ولتاژ نقش مهمی ایفا می کنند؛ زیرا این پست ها می توانند یک نقطه اتصال اولیه بین شبکه انتقال با ولتاژ بالا و سیستم توزیع باشند. ماهیت کنترل محلی ولتاژ، تنوع ابزار کنترل و تعامل میان آنها باعث شده است که این نوع کنترل دشوار باشد. در این مقاله، یک روش کنترل متمرکز ولتاژ/ توان راکتیو در سیستمهای قدرت با استفاده از فازورهای اندازه گیری شده توسط مانند واحدهای اندازه گیری فازوری (PMU) نصب شده در پستهای شبکه ارائه شده است. در این روش، کنترل کننده مرکزی بر اساس ولتاژهای شبکه و همچنین معادلات شبکه، علاوه بر تعیین تپ ترانسفورماتورها و پله بانکهای خازنی، با انجام پخش بار بهینه، مقادیر مناسب نقطه کار ژنراتورها را نیز بطور بهینه تعیین کند. صحت و کارایی روش پیشنهادی از طریق شبیه سازی در محیط نرم افزار MATLAB مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. پرونده مقاله

        This paper presents a biogeography-based optimization (BBO) algorithm to solve the economic loadDispatch (ELD) problem with generator constraints in thermal plants. The applied method can solvethe ELD problem with constraints like transmission losses, ramp rate limits, and prohibited operatingzones. Biogeography is the science of the geographical distribution of biological species. The modelsof biogeography explain how a organisms arises, immigrate from an environment to another and getseliminated. The BBO has some characteristics that are shared with other population basedoptimization procedures, similar to genetic algorithms (GAs) and particle swarm optimization (PSO).The BBO algorithm mainly based on two steps: migration and mutation. The BBO has some goodfeatures in reaching to the global minimum in comparison to other evolutionary algorithms. Thisalgorithm applied on two practical test systems that have six and fifteen thermal units, results of thispaper are used to see the comparison between performances of the BBO algorithm with other existingalgorithms. The result of this investigation proves the efficiency and good performance of applyingBBO algorithm on ELD problem and show that this method can be a good substitute for otheralgorithms. پرونده مقاله

        Dynamic economic load dispatch is one of the most important roles of power generation’s operation and control. It determines the optimal controls of production of generator units with predicted load demand over a certain period of time. Economic dispatch at minimum production cost is one of the most important subjects in the power network’s operation, which is a complicated nonlinear constrained optimization problem. Since dynamic economic load dispatch was introduced, several intelligent methods have been used to solve this problem. In this paper, an Improved Particle Swarm Optimizer (IPSO) and Water Cycle optimizer (WCO), as swarm-based optimization algorithms, have been proposed to solve dynamic economic load dispatch problem and their results compare with each other. These algorithms are applied to a dynamic economic dispatch problem for 6-unit power systems with a 24-h load demand at each one hour time intervals. The goal of the research is categorized in two parts; first of all, introduction of application of new heuristic method for solving economic load dispatch problem and second, comparison between two swarm-based algorithms.         The Gravitational Search Algorithm (GSA) is a novel optimization method based on the law of gravity and mass interactions. It has good ability to search for the global optimum, but its searching speed is really slow in the last iterations. So the hybridization of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and GSA can resolve the aforementioned problem. In this paper, a modified PSO, which the movement of particles is also based on getting away from individual worst solution other than going toward the best ones, is combined with GSA, named (PSOGSA) and is applied on ELD problem. A 6 unit case study considering transmission loss, prohibited zones and ramp rate limits and also a 40 unit system with valve point loading effect has been used to show the feasibility of the method.         Nowadays, economic load dispatch between generation units with least cost involved is one of the most important issues in utilizing power systems. In this paper, a new method i.e. Water Cycle Algorithm (WCA) which is similar to other intelligent algorithm and is based on swarm, is employed in order to solve the economic load dispatch problem between power plants. WCA is used to solve complicated problems including non-linear cost functions such as the constraint for input steam valve, constraint for loss, ramp rate of generators and prohibited operating zones of generators’ production. This algorithm is employed on a system with 3 units and load demand of 850 MW and on a system with 15 units and load demand of 2630 MW with and without considering the constraints. The results of the paper comparing to the results of the other valid papers show that the proposed algorithm can be used to solve in any kind of economic dispatch problems with proper results. پرونده مقاله

        Nowadays, economic load dispatch between generation units with least cost involved is one of the most important issues in utilizing power systems. In this paper, a new method i.e. Water Cycle Algorithm (WCA) which is similar to other intelligent algorithm and is based on swarm, is employed in order to solve the economic load dispatch problem between power plants. In order to investigate the effectiveness of the proposed method in solving non-linear cost functions which is composed of the constraint for input steam valve and units with different fuels, a system with 10 units is studied for more accordance with literatures in two modes: one without considering the effect of steam valve and load of 2400, 2500, 2600 and 2700 MW and the other one with considering the effect of steam valve and load of 2700 MW. The results of the paper comparing to the results of the other valid papers show that the proposed algorithm can be used to solve in any kind of economic dispatch problems with proper results. پرونده مقاله
