  امروزه یکی از مواردی که در کارایی بنگاههای اقتصادی از جمله بانک‌ها می‌تواند مورد بررسی و تحلیل قرار گیرد ،بحث اندازه و مقیاس تولید آنها می‌باشد،لذا برای بررسی اندازه و مقیاس،20 بانک دولتی و خصوصی، برای دوره زمانی 92- 1385 انتخاب شدند،با تخمین تابع تولید ترانسلوگ مرزی تصادفی بانکها، تغییرات کارایی مقیاس محاسبه شد،نکته کلیدی استخراج شاخص ترکیبی برای ابزار‌آلات الکترونیکی(خود‌پرداز،پایانه فروش،پایانه شعب) با استفاده از روش مؤلفه اصلی می‌باشد که از آن شاخص ترکیبی بعنوان نهاده در تابع تولید استفاده می‌شود.نتایج نشان می‌دهند که بانکهای دولتی بزرگ و کوچک از مولد‌ترین مقیاس تولید دور هستند به استثنای بانک توسعه صادرات که وضعیت خوبی در مقیاس مولد بهینه فنی دارد.از طرف دیگر بانکهای خصوصی بزرگ و کوچک کاملاً در مقیاس مولد فنی قرار دارند،. به استثنای بانک دی که تا حدودی نسبت به مولدترین مقیاس تولید فاصله دارد. نکته قابل توجه در مورد بانکهای تازه خصوصی شده (ملت، صادرات، تجارت، رفاه) می‌باشد که تا زمانیکه دولتی بوده‌اند فاصله زیادی با مقیاس مولد بهینه فنی داشته‌اند ولی بعد از خصوصی شدن وضعیت مقیاس اقتصادی بهتری کسب نموده‌اند. پرونده مقاله

  The insurance industry due to its mission is considered one of the important and basic industries in the country, and it is very important to determine and recognize the current performance of companies in this industry in order to provide the basis for continuous improvement while evaluating their performance compared to other companies. One of the performance evaluation criteria is return to scale, so that by recognizing it, it is possible to create a basis for improving the performance of companies. Therefore, the present study is aimed to investigate whether there is a relationship between returns to scale and company size in Iranian insurance companies or not. For this purpose, first the technical efficiency condition is calculated using three CCR, BCC and NIRS models, and then, return to scale of insurance companies is extracted with the Fare and Grosskopf method in three periods of 2017, 2018 and 2019. The comparison of the returns to scale of companies with their size indicated that the majority of companies in the industry operate with increasing or decreasing returns to scale and in all three periods only 15% of companies have constant returns to scale. Also, the results of the calculations showed that the insurance companies with small and medium market value have increasing returns to scale; thus, there is a potential to grow and expand their activities. Also, the increasing returns to scale in such companies are incentives for small and medium-sized companies to merge and take benefit of better cost economies. پرونده مقاله

  Hospitals, as the biggest and costliest operative units of ministry of health and medical education, have always faced budget deficit. Hence, efficiency scores of hospitals is one of the important criteria that managers and policy makers can use for future planning to improve the performance of the hospitals. This paper presents data envelopment analysis (DEA) to assess relative efficiency of hospitals with multiple inputs and multiple outputs. We use cross-efficiency score for ranking the top hospitals and also Malmquist productivity index for estimating productivity growth. This study evaluates the efficiency of hospitals operated by Kashan University of Medical Sciences from 2011 to 2016, in which input parameters are the number of physicians, nurses and beds and output parameters are the number of discharged patients. GAMS software application was used for data analysis. Based on the results, the average technical efficiency of understudy hospitals was 0.71. On the other hand, inefficient hospitals faced input increase to achieve the same output. The average productivity index at hospitals during study years was 0.909, indicating that the productivity index reduced on average 10% during this time range. Hospitals affiliated with Kashan University of Medical Sciences were technically inefficient. Thus, at these hospitals, technical, pure technical and scale efficiency did not follow a fixed trend, changing continually. Moreover, hospitals did not use their resources optimally and encountered decrease in productivity. Therefore, it is recommended that hospitals’ functionality be compared with national and international standards. پرونده مقاله
