  The present study describes the encapsulation of protocorm of Cymbidium bicolor Lindl. from 60 days-old in seed cultures for short- term conservation and propagation. Various concentrations and combinations of gelling matrix (sodium alginate) and complexing agents (calcium chloride) were tested to prepare uniform beads. The ideal beads were ob- tained through a combination of 3% sodium alginate and 100 mM calcium chloride. Encapsulated protocorms exhibited the best re-growth and con- version frequency on MS medium supplemented with BA (4.42 μM). En- capsulated protocorms stored at 25°C were green and retained the viability with potential for conversion (52%) and germination even after 360 days. The encapsulated protocorms stored at 4°C remained viable up to 30 days beyond which the conversion rate decreased drastically. Well-de veloped plantlets were transplanted into plastic pots containing vermiculite and maintained for 60 days in the culture room for acclimatization. The 90% of the recovered plantlets were hardened off and established suc-cessfully in the soil.   The effect of stationary liquid media to improve shoots elongation in date palm cv. Najda and an in vitro pre-acclimatization stage to increase the survival ercentage of plantlets in the greenhouse was investigated. Two basal liquid media were tested: full strength and half strength Murashige and Skoog medium (MS). Media were devoid of plant growth regulators (PGRs), containing 0.5 mg/L 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) or 0.5 mg/L indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) and 0.5 mg/L BAP. After three months of culture, all liquid media were efficient and allowed to overcome slow growth problem. The maximum shoot elongation was 11.3 cm, obtained in MS supplemented with 0.5 mg/L BAP and 0.5 mg/L IBA. The shoots were isolated and transferred either to the greenhouse or to one month in vitro pre-acclimatization stage in a PGRs-free solid medium (MS or MS/2) then to the greenhouse. A higher surviving rate (ranging from 70 to 86 %) was obtained after one month pre-acclimatization compared with the direct transfer to the greenhouse (12–28 %). پرونده مقاله

  Plant tissue culture refers to growing and multiplication of cells, tissues and organs of plants on defined solid or liquid media under aseptic and controlled environment. Micropropagation allows rapid production of high quality, disease-free and uniform planting material. The micropropagation of high quality planting materials of ornamentals, and forest and fruit trees has created new opportunities in global trading for producers, farmers, and nursery owners, and for rural employment. A substantial number of micropropagated plants do not survive transfer from in vitro conditions to greenhouse or field environments. The greenhouse and field have substantially lower relative humidity, higher light level and septic environment that are stressful to micro-propagated plants compared to in vitro conditions. It is possible to acclimatize plantlets during in vitro as well as in vivo by various methods and thereby fa-cilitating the successful transfer of in vitro cultured plantlets to soil. پرونده مقاله

  چکیده طبیعت در همة دوره‌های ادب فارسی منبع الهام برای شاعران ایرانی بوده است؛ در دورة معاصر با ترغیب نیما به انعکاس دید نو و نگاه فردی در شعر، شاعران تلاش کرده‌اند تصاویری بدیع و زیبا از طبیعت و محیط طبیعی اطراف خود ارائه دهند که این عامل، سبب ظهور تصاویر اقلیمی شده است. در کنار انعکاس نگاه فردی و تجارب شخصی و تصویرسازی با الهام از طبیعت، شعر جامعه مدار معاصر نیز سعی کرده تا با رجوع به طبیعت و الهام از آن، مفاهیم سیاسی و اجتماعی را در قالب تصاویر و نمادهایی ملهم از طبیعت، ارائه دهد. شفیعی کدکنی از شاعران معاصر، در تصویرپردازی گرایش به طبیعت دارد. نوگرایی، عینیّت گرایی و اقلیم گرایی، ویژگی بارز تصویرپردازی این شاعر است. بخش عظیمی از نوگرایی او در تصویرپردازی، مرهون الهام از طبیعت در این زمینه است. ویژگی دیگری که در تصویرپردازی شعری او جلب توجّه می کند، حمل مفاهیم سیاسی و اجتماعی به تصاویر برگرفته از طبیعت است که در این مقاله به بررسی این ویژگی‌های تصویرپردازی او خواهیم پرداخت. بحث و بررسی در تصویرپردازی شفیعی ، روشن می‌کند که شاعر در زمینه تصویرپردازی هم نوجو و نوآور است و هم تفکّرات سیاسی-اجتماعی خود را در قالب این تصاویر، زیبا و هنرمندانه بیان داشته است. پرونده مقاله
