چکیده مقاله :
کاردیومیوپاتی اتساعی (Dilated Cardiomyopathy; DCM) یکی از شایعترین بیماریهای قلبی سگها است. این بیماری چنانچه به موقع شناسایی و درمان نشود ممکن است موجب مرگ حیوان مبتلا شود، به همین سبب تشخیص به موقع آن از اهمیت بالایی برخوردار است. مطالعه حاضر از آن جهت انجام شد که شاخصهای اکوکاردیوگرافی و رادیوگرافی سگهای مبتلا به DCM را به تفکیک جنس، وضعیت عقیمی، نژاد، سن و وزن، بررسی و شناسایی نماید. بدین منظور با استفاده از اکوکاردیوگرافی و رادیوگرافی به ترتیب پارامترهای مختلف بطن چپ و مقیاس مهره ای قلب (Vertebral Heart Score; VHS) سگهای مبتلا به DCM اندازه گیری شد. نتایج نشان داد که بیشترین میزان شیوع مربوط به سگهای نر، عقیم نشده، نژاد تریر، گروه سنی 9-6 سال و در ردهء وزنی 10-5 کیلوگرم بود. یافتههای اکوکاردیوگرافی هم نشان داد که بین پارامترهای IVSs (Intraventricular Septum at end Systole) و LVDs (Left Ventricular Internal Diameter at end Systole) در سگ های مبتلا به DCM ماده و نر، EF (Ejection Fraction) و FS (Fractional Shortening) وضعیت عقیمی مختلف، LVD (Left Ventricular Internal Diameter) و RVD (Right Ventricular Internal Diameter) نژادهای مختلف، تمامی پارمترهای اندازه گیری شده در وزن های مختلف و EF، LVDd (Left Ventricular Internal Diameter at end Diastole) و LVDs در سنین مختلف، تفاوت آماری معنی داری وجود دارد (05/0=p). همچنین میانگین VHS سگهای مبتلا به DCM دارای نژاد، سن، وضعیت عقیمی و وزنهای مختلف، به صورت معنی داری متفاوت از همدیگر بود (04/0 =p، 04/0=p و 01/0=p)، اما مشخص شد که جنسیت تاثیری در تغییر VHS ندارد. به نظر می رسد که شناخت جمعیت مبتلا به بیماری DCM براساس یافتههای تصویربرداری تشخیصی مربوط به آن، میتواند به تشخیص زودهنگام این بیماری کمک نماید. از آن گذشته، یافتههای پژوهش حاضر میتواند در بررسی سگهای مبتلا به DCM به عنوانی مرجعی معتبر در نظر گرفته شود.
چکیده انگلیسی:
Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is one of the most common cardiac diseases in dogs. Prompt diagnosis of the disease is very important as it may lead to fatality in undetected and untreated cases. This study was carried out to investigate and identify the echocardiographic and radiographic indicators of dogs with DCM by sex, sterility status, breed, age and weight. For this purpose, using echocardiography and radiography, various parameters of the left ventricle and VHS (Vertebrae Heart Scale) of all dogs with DCM were measured. The results showed that the highest rate of prevalence was related to unsterilized male terrier dogs with the age of 6-9 years and body weight of 5-10 kg. The echocardiographic findings showed that there were significant differences in different ages (p=0.05) between the parameters of IVSs (Intraventricular Septum at end Systole) and LVDs (Left Ventricular Internal Diameter at end Systole) in male and female DCM dogs, EF (Ejection Fraction) and FS (Fractional Shortening) of different sterility status, LVD (Left Ventricular Internal Diameter) and RVD (Right Ventricular Internal Diameter) of different breeds, all parameters measured in different weights and EF, LVDd (Left Ventricular Internal Diameter at end Diastole) and LVDs. The average VHS of dogs with breed, age, sterility status and different weights with DCM were significantly different from each other (p=0.04, p=0.04 and p=0.01). But, the findings showed that gender had no effect on VHS change. It seems that detection of the canine population with DCM disease according to related diagnostic imaging findings can help in the early diagnosis of this disease. Moreover, the findings of this research can be considered as a valid reference in the examination of different dogs with DCM.
