Study and Comparison of the Safety and Health Status of Outdoor Sports Spaces in High Schools in Mashhad City and Providing Appropriate Solutions

Considering the growth of the country's population and the consequent growth of the student population, the construction of sports spaces has been considered as one of the effective factors in education based on scientific criteria. Therefore, it is necessary and essential to formulate scientific and technical principles, rules, and standards for the construction of such spaces. The purpose of this study is to investigate and compare the safety and health status of outdoor sports spaces in middle schools in Mashhad. In this descriptive-survey study conducted in 2010-2011, the research population consisted of all regular-government high schools in Mashhad. The research sample included 41 high schools that were randomly selected from three categories: disadvantaged, semi-advantaged, and affluen.The data collection tool includes two checklists a special safety checklist for outdoor sports spaces and a special health checklist for sports spaces.The results of this study indicate that, according to the probability values of P-value = 0.00, there is a significant relationship between the safety and health status of outdoor sports spaces in schools in different regions. In this study, the 42 sports schools in different areas of health and safety were evaluated from different angles The results of this study and other research areas can be concluded that the safety situation is poor sport. Safety results showed that among all the components except the components in other components of equipment are below average mean There were no schools in the dressing room.
