Introduction: Recognizing the health literacy status of women as half of the country's population, which can determine the health of the family and consequently the society, is important and necessary. One of the important factors in increasing or decreasing women's health literacy is their lifestyle. Therefore, this study aimed to sociologically examine the lifestyle of women in Shiraz and its relationship with their health literacy.
Methods: This research is a cross-sectional-correlational study. Out of all women in the city of Shiraz, 400 women were randomly selected, and they completed Lali et al.'s lifestyle questionnaire and Dehghankar et al.'s health literacy questionnaire. Pearson correlation test, multiple regression analysis, and SPSS software were used for data analysis.
Findings: The results showed that more than 60% of the variance in women's health literacy was explained by the research variables. In general, it can be said that improving women's lifestyles and increasing their educational level will result in increased health literacy. Therefore, it is suggested that programs aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle for women be developed and implemented in the country's health policies
