Investigating the relationship between the activity of faults on the occurrence of travertine deposits in the southwest of Yazd province using RS & GIS techniques.

چکیده مقاله :
بخش غربی و جنوب غربی استان یزد که به دلیل موقعیت خاص زمین شناسی و مجاورت با گسل بزرگ دهشیر بافت و سایر ریز گسلهای منطقه از پتانسیل معدنی خوبی برخوردار می باشد از نتایج فعالیت این گسل می توان به معادن سنگ ساختمانی از قبیل تراورتن مرمر مرمریت اشاره نمود. از جمله روش های سریع و بروز اکتشاف معادن سنگ ساختمانی مذکور بهره گیری از تکنیک GIS و RS است. در این مطالعه نیز با بهره گیری از دو تکنیک مذکور به تعیین مناطق امید بخش جهت پی جویی معادن سنگ ساختمانی پرداخته شد. مطالعات دورسنجی در محیط نرم افزار ILWISE، صورت گرفت بعد از آنالیز تصاویر ماهواره لندست منطقه مورد نظر تصویر رنگی کاذب ۳۴۷ جهت مطالعات بیشتر استفاده شد. در محیط Arcview با ایجاد لایه های اطلاعاتی شامل موقعیت توده های تراورتن و پراکندگی گسل های منطقه به اکتشاف معادن سنگ ساختمانی پرداخته شد. تصویر رنگی کاذب مذکور ارتباط نزدیک و تنگاتنگی بین گسل های موجود در منطقه و پراکندگی توده های تراورتن نشان داد. لذا از این الگو می توان استفاده نمود و پی جویی و اکتشاف توده های تراورتن را به نواحی که تجمع گسل ها وجود دارد محدود نمود در قسمت شمال غربی گسل دهشیر توده های تراورتن متعددی بعد از انجام مطالعات صورت گرفته بر روی نقشه ۱۰۰۰۰۰/۱ دهشیر و تصویر ماهواره ایی مربوطه تشخیص داده شد که قابلیت معدنکاری را دارند.
