Principles of diagnosis and control of Mycoplasma Mastitis in dairy farms

ورم پستان ناشی از گونه های مایکوپلاسما بسیار مسری است و باعث بیماری جدی و زیان اقتصادی به خصوص در گله‌های بزرگ گاو شیری می‌شود.
در دهه گذشته شیوع گله‌ای بیماری افزایش یافته است و این افزایش به موازات افزایش میانگین اندازه گله گاو شیری است.
طغیان‌های این بیماری بیشتر از ورود گاوهای آلوده به مزرعه و اقدامات بهداشتی ضعیف که به حفظ انتقال گاو به گاو کمک می‌کند، منشأ می‌گیرد.
مایکوپلاسما در زمان شیردوشی از گاو آلوده به غیرآلوده از طریق وسایل، دست‌های کارگر، لاینرهای شیردوشی یا پارچه‌های شستشوی پستان منتقل می‌شود.
مایکوپلاسما اغلب به درمان آنتی بیوتیکی مقاوم است و می‌تواند منجر به عفونت‌های مزمن و تحت بالینی شود.
Mastitis caused by Mycoplasma species is highly contagious and causes serious disease and economic loss, especially in large dairy herds.
Herd prevalence has increased over the past decade, and this increase parallels the increase in average dairy herd size.
Outbreaks mostly originate from introduction of infected cows to a farm and poor hygienic practices that help to maintain cow to cow transmission.
Mycoplasma transmits at milking time from an infected cow to an uninfected cow via fomites, hands of a milker, milking unit liners, or udder washcloths.
Mycoplasma spp. is frequently resistant to antibiotic treatment and can result in chronic and subclinical states of infection.
