This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the prediction of psychological well-being based on the components of psychological capital (self-efficacy, optimism, resilience and hope) in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of correlation type. The statistical population in this research is all people with multiple sclerosis (MS) who are members of the association of patients with multiple sclerosis in Yazd city in 1401. The selection of sample people was available by sampling method and 200 people were selected as sample people. The tools used in this research included Riff's psychological well-being questionnaire (1980) and Lutaz's psychological capital questionnaire (2007). Data were analyzed using statistical regression method. The findings showed that all components of self-efficacy, resilience, hope, optimism and psychological capital are considered as significant predictors of psychological well-being changes in MS patients (p>0.05). The results of this research show that psychological capital can play a vital role in strengthening the psychological well-being of patients with MS and emphasizes the importance of strengthening these components in therapeutic interventions. Also, these results can be used as a basis for designing psychological interventions aimed at improving psychological well-being in this group of patients. Therefore, the use of interventions that strengthen psychological capital can significantly improve the quality of life of MS patients and help reduce the stress and psychological pressure caused by this disease.
