One of the most important factors in locating cities and mapping their physical growth and development is to pay attention to environmental characteristics, especially geomorphological parameters. In the absence of geomorphologic features in urban development, these centers - cities - which are mainly the focus of population accumulation and capital accumulation and infrastructure, face severe risks and losses. The purpose of this study is to investigate the feasibility of physical development of Dehgolan city using geomorphological parameters. The parameters used in this study include slope, slope orientation, distance from river, distance from fault, land use and geology. The research method is based on a descriptive-analytical approach and fuzzy logic model has been used to achieve the research objective. The area of study is Dehgolan city in Kurdistan province, which requires evaluation and studies related to urban development due to its positive population growth in recent years. The results of the fuzzy gamma operator (0.9) show that 2.7% of the studied area has very good conditions for future physical development, which is located mainly in the north and northeast directions of the city. Due to the inappropriateness of other directions as well as the area of suitable low zones, physical expansion for future development of Dehgolan city cannot be suggested. Finally, it is suggested that the future expansion approach of Dehgolan city is vertical expansion and utilizes brown, waste, and movable lands within the city.¬¬
