The Effects of Dietary Valine on Performance, SerumAntibody Titre and Bone Mineralization in Broiler Chicks

The present study was carried out to examine the effect of supplemental dietary valine in the starter diet of broilers (0-15 d of age) on performance, antibodyresponse to Newcastle disease virus vaccination and bone mineralization. The experiment was conducted using 300 Ross 308 male broilers. One-day-old chicks were randomly allotted to 3 groups; each group consisted of 5 replicate pens with 20 birds per pen. Chickens were fed one of three dietary treatments with varying concentrations of valine; the first diet was adequate in valine (0% valine), the second and third diets had an excess in valine (0.08% and 0.16% synthetic valine in diet) because valine was added in place of inert filler. The results showed that supplemental dietary valine did not alter either feed intake, body weight gain or feed conversion ratio. Hemagglutination Inhibitiontitrewas significantly increased when valine was added to the diet (P<0.05). The supplemental dietary valine had a significant effect on the calcium concentration in bone (P<0.05), but there was no significant effect on the phosphorus concentration in bone.
این تحقیق به منظور بررسی تأثیر افزودن والین به جیره دوره آغازین جوجههای گوشتی (15-0 روزگی) بر عملکرد، پاسخ آنتیبادی به واکسن نیوکاسل و استخوان سازی انجام شد. آزمایش با استفاده از 300 قطعه جوجه گوشتی نر سویه راس 308 انجام شد. جوجهها به طور تصادفی به 3 تیمار و 5 تکرار با 20 پرنده در هر تکرار دسته بندی شدند. جوجه با سه نوع جیره غذایی با غلظتهای مختلف از نظر والین تغذیه شدند که جیره غذایی اول با میزان کافی والین از نظر نیاز جوجههای گوشتی (0 درصد ال-والین) و جیرههای دوم و سوم با سطوح بیش از حد نیاز والین (08/0 درصد و 16/0 درصد ال-والین) بود. نتایج نشان داد که والین افزوده شده به جیرههای غذایی تغییری در مصرف خوراک، افزایش وزن بدن و ضریب تبدیل غذایی نداشت. در صورتیکه افزودن والین به جیرههای غذایی به طور معنیداری موجب افزایش تیتر HI گردید (05/0>P). افزودن والین به جیرههای غذایی تأثیر معنیداری بر غلظت کلسیم استخوان داشت (05/0>P)، اما اثری بر غلظت فسفر استخوان دیده نشد.
