The Effect of Dietary Energy and Protein Levels on Growth Performance and Antibody Responses of Offspring of Laying Japanese Quails

An experiment was conducted to study the effect of metabolizable energy (ME) and protein of Japanese quails diets on offspring performance and antibody production against sheep red blood cell (SRBC). A total of 432 Japanese quails (13 week-old) were divided into nine treatments. Each treatment comprised four replicates of twelve birds (9 female and 3 male). Nine diets including three levels of metabolizable energy (2750, 2900 and 3050 kcal ME/kg diet) each at three levels of crude protein (18, 20 and 22% CP/kg) in a 3 × 3 factorial design were formulated. Offspring live weight was significantly lower in week 1, 2, 3 and through the whole of growth period when quails fed diets contained 2750 kcal/kg energy and 18% protein. Quail feeding with different levels of energy and protein did not affect feed intake of offspring. The feed conversion ratio of offspring was significantly higher when quails fed diet with 2750 kcal/kg ME and 18% protein during the experimental periods. Quail fed diet containing 2750 kcal/kg ME with 18 and 20% protein decreased antibody production of offspring against SRBC. It was concluded that using 2750 kcal/kg energy with 18 and 20% protein in diets of quails may have adverse effects on offspring growth rates and immune responses.
این آزمایش به جهت بررسی تاثیر خوراکهای حاوی سطوح مختلف انرژی و پروتئین بر عملکرد و پاسخ ایمنی در برابر SRBC در بلدرچینهای مولد تخمگذار ژاپنی و نتاج حاصل از آنها صورت گرفت. تعداد 432 قطعه بلدرچین (13 هفتگی) به 9 تیمار با 4 تکرار تقسیم شدند که در هر تکرار 9 پرنده ماده و 3 پرنده نر قرار گرفت. آزمایش بصورت فاکتوریل 3 × 3 شامل سه سطح انرژی (2750، 2900 و 3050 کیلوکالری/کیلوگرم) و سه سطح پروتئین (18، 20 و 22 درصد) در قالب طرح کاملا تصادفی انجام شد. وزن نتاج در پرندههای تغذیه شده با جیرهی حاوی 2750 کیلوکالری و 18 درصد پروتئین در هفتههای 1، 2 و 3 و همچنین کل دوره آزمایش کمتر از دیگر گروهها بود. تغذیه پرندگان با سطوح مختلف انرژی و پروتئین تأثیری بر میزان مصرف خوراک آنها نداشت. سطوح مختلف انرژی و پروتئین خوراک در پرندگان مولد تأثیری بر مصرف خوراک نتاج نداشت. ضریب تبدیل پرندگان تغذیه شده با جیرههای حاوی 2750 کیلوکالری انرژی و 18 درصد پروتئین در کل دوره آزمایش نسبت به دیگر تیمارها به طور معنیداری افزایش یافت. تولید آنتیبادی در برابر SRBC در نتاج بلدرچینهای تغذیه شده با 2750 کیلوکالری و 18 یا 20 درصد پروتئین نسبت به دیگر تیمارها کاهش یافت. به طورکلی، استفاده از جیرههای حاوی 2750 کیلوکالری انرژی و 18 یا 20 درصد پروتئین در تغذیه بلدرچین مولد، تأثیر منفی بر عملکرد و پاسخ ایمنی نتاج تولیدی دارد.
