In this research, in order to use the effluent from the Dezful sewage treatment plant in the industry and agriculture sector, some quality parameters of the treatment were evaluated according to the quality guidelines of the Environmental Organization, since the aeration time is the longest in the sewage treatment plant with aeration lagoon system without sludge return. It has an effect on the process of biological activities. Therefore, in this research, the changes of do and the removal efficiency of the quality parameter cod were investigated at 4, 5, and 7-hour operating times, and the best aeration time for the lagoons was selected. Considering the role of plants in purifying sludge from heavy metals and also the amount of absorption of heavy metals from sludge by the underground and aerial organs of plants, the removal efficiency of copper, chromium, zinc, cadmium, nickel, and lead metals by natural systems contains two Reed and Tifa plant species were calculated. The removal efficiency was calculated based on the differences in the initial mass of heavy metals in the sludge, and the mass removed by the plants as the output mass from the system. The results showed that the difference in the accumulation rate of the net mass of heavy metals in the aerial parts of two plant species, Reed and Tifa, was significant in five of the six metals examined, and insignificant only in the case of nickel. In the case of three metals copper, chromium, and zinc, the difference between the aerial organs of two plant species was significant at the level of one percent, and in the case of cadmium and lead, the difference was significant at the level of five percent. Therefore, according to these differences and considering the difference between the mass removed by the underground organs and an estimate of the total mass removed of the investigated metal by the whole plant, it is possible to remove metals from the two investigated plants for phytoremediation purposes. studied and used in this research Manuscript profile

In this research, the efficiency of water consumption with two performance indicators per unit of water consumption (CPD) and gross income per unit of water consumption for the crops of the existing cultivation pattern of the Gatund irrigation network in the north of Khuzestan province, using the actual data of the cultivation pattern and with the estimation of water requirement in four different scenarios to achieve irrigation efficiency was investigated. The results showed that the highest value of CPD index was related to carrot and sugar beet products. The lowest CPD values were obtained for sesame and sunflower products. Also, the highest amount of BPD index was assigned to strawberry and okra products, respectively. The lowest BPD values were attributed to olive and sunflower products, respectively. Also, the average CPD index of Gatond irrigation network for the scenarios of achieving irrigation efficiency of 30, 35, 42 and 54% was obtained as 0.92, 1.08, 1.44, and 1.85 kg per cubic meter of water, respectively. The average values of BPD index of Gatund irrigation network for the scenarios of achieving irrigation efficiency of 30, 35, 42 and 54% were 34,699, 40,482, 53,326 and 68,563 rials per cubic meter of consumed water, respectively. According to the available data, the average amount of income per surface unit for the cultivation pattern of the region was equal to 451.6 million rials per hectare. Manuscript profile
