This article examines one of the key competences of the 21th century, called cultural intelligence. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between cultural intelligence, organizational culture and the effectiveness of staff in the industry, mine and trade organization of Semnan province. The research method is correlation, and statistical population of the research includes staff of this organization, 141 people based on the personnel department documents. Based on the Cochran''s formula with 0.05 percent error, sample size contains 103 employees. Three questionnaires were used to measure the variables. Likewise, descriptive and deductive statistics were applied to evaluate and analyze data. Pearson correlation coefficient and multivariate regression were used in deductive statistics to obtain the results. There is a significant relationship between cultural intelligence, organizational culture and the effectiveness employees of the industry, mine and trade organization of Semnan province. Likewise, there is a positive and meaningful relationship between cultural intelligence dimensions and employees'' effectiveness. Among four cultural intelligence factors, only the knowledge of cultural intelligence is able to predict the effectiveness. Meanwhile, there is a positive and meaningful relationship between organizational culture dimensions and the effectiveness of the staff. The calculated correlation coefficient indicates that the creativity factors and Communication pattern have the highest correlation coefficient. Hence, they are able to predict the employees'' effectiveness. Manuscript profile

In according to quantity of various consumption materials in construction sites of complex projects such as oil industry, infrastructure, and large scale commercial, management and monitoring of materials can affect on the final time and cost of project’s activities. In today’s world of rising labor costs and labor shortages, automated materials tracking can provide some advantage to improve activity execution and consequently reach to project’s goals. Potential values of RFID technology in materials traceability and real time information can help us about status of materials to better management of them. In this paper, we categorize the materials management errors removable by RFID and show how RFID can eliminate these errors and simultaneously bring some other benefits to reduce time and cost in construction project sites. Efficiently, tracking information related to components, materials and equipment from the production/construction phase to operation and maintenance is a challenge in the industries. The industry environment is a natural fit for generating and utilizing instance-level data for decision support. Advanced electronic identification and data storage technologies e.g. radio frequency identification (RFID), are used to identify equipment automatically and to integrate related information with equipment in various industries. The purpose of this paper is to explore and describe the impact of RFID-based decision support on maintenance management performance of urban tunnel systems. An RFID-based decision support – maintenance management model is theorized and tested with data collected from a sample of maintenance organizations using a structural equation methodology. This paper contributes to the RFID community by providing empirical insights into the impact of RFID-based decision support on maintenance management performance. This technology can potentially reduce the time for handling data in process of maintenance management. Timely and relevant information enables informed decision-making and causes to improvement for maintenance management performance Manuscript profile

Edge Detection is an important task for sharpening the boundary of images to detect the region of interest. This paper applies a linear cellular automata rules and a Mamdani Fuzzy inference model for edge detection in both monochromatic and the RGB images. In the uniform cellular automata a transition matrix has been developed for edge detection. The Results have been compared to the other classic methods for edge detection like Canny, Sobel, Prewitt and Robert. For performance evaluation, and comparison with the other methods the MSE, PSNR (Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio), SNR(Signal-to-Noise Ratio) criteria have been used. The Comparison results reveals the superiority of the proposed methods in this paper compared to the other standard edge detection methods. Manuscript profile

In this paper, we propose a new optimized PID controller to stabilize the synchronous machine connected to an infinite bus. The model for the synchronous machine is 4-ordered linear Philips-Heffron synchronous machine. In this research, the parameters of the PID controller are optimally achieved by minimizing a definite fitness function to removes the unstable Eigen-value to the left side of imaginary axis. The considered parameters for the controller are achieved by employing a new defined, World Cup Optimization algorithm. After applying the proposed controller, it is compared by the particle swarm optimization as a popular and high performance algorithm. Here, controller is obtained for all operating points. Final results show that the using World Cup Optimization algorithm has a better performance toward the compared particle swarm optimization. Manuscript profile

In this research study, one of the most crucial automotive engineering problems is intended to be solved. The necessity of tire pressure monitoring system is beyond doubt. Such systems are now provided relying on expensive sensors. In this study an indirect tire pressure monitoring system is proposed, utilizing identification techniques, which will reduce the cost of monitoring considerably in comparison to direct types, while keeping it just as reliable as the conventional types. A comprehensive study on system’s parameters was undertaken by MATLAB-IDENTIFICATION toolbox, in order to find a proper method to estimate tire pressure indirectly. The best method was chosen among five well-known estimation methods, including Space State, AR, ARMA, NLARX and Wiener-Hammerstein. It was shown, the best method to estimate the pressure of a properly inflated tire is NLARX with a 94.51% precision while the best estimation for an under-inflated tire pressure is ARMA with a 92.3% accuracy. Many organizations have recognized that knowledge is the most important resource in today’s economy. With regards to knowledge-based views of the firm, organizations are actively embracing knowledge management with the expectation of acquiring and maintaining high levels of organizational performance. The relationship between knowledge management (KM) and organizational performance has been the subject of discussion in management literature. However, the various researches on the effect of knowledge management on organizational performance have yielded conflicting findings and recommendations in different contexts. This study proposes a contingency model for investigating the effects of multiple organizational factors including organizational structure, organizational culture, organizational motivation for sharing knowledge and organizational intelligence on KM and testing the impacts of KM on organizational performance to resolve these contradictions. These effects were tested through structural equation modeling and decision rules were extracted from C5.0 decision tree. Also, The Gray Relational Analysis technique was used In order to rank indicators. Finally, by using DEMATEL method, the relation matrix was built. The sample included 278 employees in the National Library and Archives of Iran. Manuscript profile
