The purpose of the present research was to examine the relationship between the dimensions and indicators of blended learning andimproving learning quality in Payame Noor University. This research was carried out as a descriptive survey. The statistical population consisted of 4000 faculty members of Payame Noor University. Among them and based on Krejcie and Morgan Table 343 people were selected as sample using random sampling method. Data were collected using two questionnaires: blended learning questionnaire and learning quality questionnaire. Expert opinion was used to identify the components of these variables. Consequently, four dimensions were identified for blended learning- i.e. pedagogy, psychology, technology, and learning style-with 32 items and a Cronbach's alpha of 0.80. Learning quality was measured using seven components and 48 items (a Cronbach's alpha of 0.83). To analyze the data, correlation coefficient and regression analysis were used in PLS software. Preliminary results showed that blended learning and learning quality in Payame Noor University are at acceptable levels. Final results indicated that blended learning and three of its components (i.e. pedagogy, technology and learning style) had a significant effect on learning quality. However, the Psychology dimension had no significant effect on the quality of learning. In addition, the results showed that the model fits the data well.  Manuscript profile

With the help of the Learning Management system, it can offer a variety of web-based content that has been welcomed in recent years. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of e-learning by Moodle method on communication skills with two variables of assertive and social adjustment of students. The research method was quasi-experimental with control and experimental group. The statistical population was students of Allameh Tabataba'i University in the academic year of 2016-17. Bell's social adjustment questionnaire (with a reliability of 0.89) and the Gambrill & Richey Assertion Inventory (with a reliability of 0.88) were used as a research tool. 170 questionnaires were distributed among the students of the faculty of Psychology and then, according to the data obtained, 50 people with the lowest level of social adjustment and assertiveness were selected. All subjects were randomly assigned into two groups of experimental and control. The experimental group received eight sixty-minute sessions with the help of e-learning, training on social assertiveness and social skills, and the control group trained in a conventional way. Data were analyzed by Covariance method. The results showed a significant difference between the control and experimental groups and this difference was in favor of the experimental group. Based on this research, it can be concluded that electronic learning improves communication skills. Manuscript profile

This research was conducted to investigate whether mobile learning based on Gagne's instructional design has any effect on university students' self-regulated learning strategies. A quasi-experimental study with pretest-posttest design and a control group was applied as the method of research. The statistical population included all the students of Educational Sciences with Educational Technologies subfield at the University of Arak who were 45 people. Sample consisted of students who take the course of Introduction to Computer Skills. Convenience sampling was used in the study. The sample size was 34 students. Using a researcher made questionnaire, the degree of students' expertise and familiarity with computer-based technology was measured. After determining the level of each person and presenting the required training, all individuals matched and met the baseline, then randomly assigned to two groups of 17 people. In order to collect data, Pintrich and DeGroot self-regulated learning strategies questionnaire was employed which contains subscales of cognitive strategies (rehearsal, elaboration, organizing and understanding) and metacognitive strategies (planning, monitoring and regulating). In order to inferential analysis the data, covariance analysis was used. The results showed that mobile learning based on Gagne's Instructional Design Model generally increases the self-regulated learning strategies of students, but there were no significant differences between the groups in sub-components of the understanding, planning and regulating.
