The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the use of social networks and the social cohesion of families in Naghade. The population of the research was all family households (23706) in Naghade among whom 378 individuals chosen as a sample using Cochran formula and multi-stage random cluster sampling method. In the present study a researcher-made questionnaire was used as a research tool. The validity and reliability was tested by alpha cronbach. Based on the results obtained, there was a reverse and significant relationship between the amount of use of virtual networks and the cohesion of the family. In examining the family cohesion, the relationship between variables of the degree of desirability of marital relationships and parent-child relationships with the amount of use of virtual networks is significant and inverse. But there was no significant correlation between the amount of use of virtual networks and the degree of desirability of family relationships. Also there was no significant difference between the type of activity in virtual networks and the integration of families. Finally, the degree of family cohesion was different in terms of educational level. Manuscript profile
