        1 - The relationship between insomnia severity, sleep quality, sleepiness and mental health disorder with academic performance in girls

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between insomnia intensity, sleep quality, sleepiness and mental health disorders with academic performance in adolescent girls of Ahvaz city. The sample of this research included 184 people who were selected by cluster sampling. In order to collect data, insomnia intensity questionnaires (ISI), Pitzerberg sleep quality, sleepiness, 25-point scale of mental health and grade point average were used as indicators of academic performance. The current research was correlational and the results of data analysis using Pearson correlation coefficient and regression showed that there is a significant relationship between insomnia severity, sleep quality, sleepiness and mental health disorders with the academic performance of adolescent girls in Ahvaz city. Also, among the predictor variables, the variable of intensity of insomnia, sleepiness and disorder in mental health were respectively the best predictors of academic performance of adolescent girls.
