The results drawn from this study shows that Akhavan is not only the composer of epic, but also he is a poet who composes new epic with its particular characteristics.  Some of his works such as Adamak, the eighth trial, then on after the thunder, the story of Sangestan city, and epitaph and my garden are testimony to his mastery in epic composition.   Keywords Akhavan Saless, new epic, structure, figure of speech, myth.   Manuscript profile
