        The aim of this research was investigate the modeling of participative management on conflict management with mediating role of expressive empathy in managers: from the perspective of teachers. Present study in terms of purpose was applied and in terms of implementation was descriptive from type of correlation. The research statistical population was the male and female teachers of one and two districts of Urmia city in 2019-20 academic years with number 2967 people. Based on the Cochran's formula, 343 people were selected as the sample by the stratified sampling method based on the service area. The research tools were the questionnaires of participative management (Feyzi & et al, 2009) and conflict management (Thomas & Kilmann, 1974) and subscale expressive empathy in scale of emotional empathy (Mehrabian & Epstein, 1972). Data were analyzed with methods of Pearson correlation coefficients and structural equation modeling in SPSS-19 and Smart PLS-3 software. The findings showed that participative management had a positive and direct effect on expressive empathy and conflict management and expressive empathy had a positive and direct effect on conflict management. Also, participative management with mediating role of expressive empathy had a positive and indirect effect on conflict management (p < 0.05). Based on fit indicators, the model of participative management on conflict management with mediating role of expressive empathy in the managers had a good fit. According to the results, to improve the conflict management of managers can be designed programs and implemented through training workshops for improving participative management and expressive empathy.
