The purpose of the present study was the efficacy of Brown's parent education model on emotional responsivity, positive adolescent development, responsibility and happiness in 12- to 15-Year-old adolescents who were out of parent control. The study method was quasi-experimental along with pre-test-post-test design and two-month follow-up period with the control group. The statistical population encompassed all parents who had 12- to 15-Year-old out of control adolescents and their children in Isfahan in the summer 1400. Therefore, 40 subjects were selected and assigned into two experimental and control groups (20 subjects in control group and 20 subjects in experimental group) randomly through inserting citation on consoling centers and inviting them to participate in the study and by using availability sampling method and by considering the exit and entry criteria. The experimental group participated in the training course for 8 sessions in 90 minutes; but there was no intervention for control group. The measurement instrument comprised of the Emotional Responsivity Questionnaire by Matuo & Nock, the Positive Adolescents Development by Goldof et al., the Responsibility by Salkowski et al, The Happiness by Argyle, Martin and Kresland (1989), and the Murray Parent-Child Conflict Questionnaire by Murray and Strauss (1990). To collect data, the mixed-design analysis of variance model was used. The result indicated that Brown's parent education has a significant effect on variables of emotional responsivity, positive development, responsibility and happiness in 12 to 15 years-old adolescents who were out of parent control and the effects of education has remained constant over time.
