Background: Nowadays the mission of universities to survive and develop better human resources, increase the quantity and quality of services as well as educational innovation. In the meantime professional development plays a constructive role in promoting the development of professional knowledge and skills of faculty members in order to achieve these objectives.   Purpose: The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between professional development and educational innovation among faculty members of psychology and education in governmental universities of Tehran.   Method: To this end, a random categorical sampling with proportional allocation including 102 participants were selected from a population of 232 of the faculty members of psychology and education in governmental universities of Tehran. Using Cochran formula some 102 people were chosen. Data gathering instruments include professional development and educational innovation as well as a researcher-made questionnaire. The research was descriptive, correlational and data analysis was used for the correlation, stepwise regression and binomial test.   Finding: Results showed that significant relationship (p≤0/05) between all of the six professional development components (personal development, educational development, research development, organization development, ethical development and cultural and social development) with educational innovation. Furthermore; the results of the stepwise regression showed that 66% of variation of educational innovation predicted by educational, research and cultural components.   Conclusion: Paying attention to the professional development of faculty members provides training ground for innovation and universities have a vital role in this regard.          The purpose of this research is to study the conditions that Facilitate implementation and institutionalization of instructional innovations ( a qualitative and descriptive evaluation). In this study, a qualitative and descriptive evaluation, considered as an example of educational innovation was used. In a correlational research design, 100 primary school teachers from five schools who implemented a descriptive, qualitative evaluation project (including the first to fifth grad) were selected with a multi-stage cluster sampling method. Then participants filled out  the condition that facilitate implementation and institutionalization of the qualitative and descriptive evaluation questionnaire with five value Likert from strongly disagree to strongly agree options. The  validity  of the instrument was confirmed by experts and its reliability was assessed using Cronbach's alpha (α= 0/92). To analyze the data, exploratory factor analysis using oblique rotation, Friedman test and post hoc Wilcoxon test was used by a significant level of p≤ 0/01. Based on the results of factor analysis, 29 items, were identified, in eight factors: dissatisfaction with the current situation (4 items), existing knowledge and information (4 items), availability of resources (4 items), enough time (3 items) rewards and / or encouragements (3 items), participation in decision-making (3 items), Commitment (4 items) and leadership (4). The results showed dissatisfaction with the current situation and existing knowledge and information is the highest priority to facilitate the use and institutionalization of this pedagogical innovation. Other conditions include leadership, commitment, availability of resources, time, participation in decision-making, and rewards and / or encourage are next in order of rank. Manuscript profile

This research was purposed to study role of knowledge sharing behavior and professional development in predicting the acceptance of educational innovations among faculty member’s university of Isfahan. The method of the research was descriptive correlative and its analyzing method was structural equations modeling. Statistical population of the research consisted in all faculty member’s university of Isfahan, totaled 650 persons in year 2017-2018. The sample size was selected totaled 242 persons based on Krejcie and Morgan (1970) table. Nineteen questionnaires were not returned, and so 223 questionnaires were analyzed. Sampling method was proportional stratified random sampling. To collect information, researcher has used three questionnaires, one acceptance of educational innovations Alizadeh (2007), and knowledge sharing behavior Bohloul (2013), and the other Researcher-made questionnaire, professional development of Faculty Members. Collected data were analyzed using software SPSS 23 and Lisrel. The results of correlation coefficient test showed that the acceptance of educational innovations has a direct and significant relation to knowledge sharing behavior and professional development of Faculty Members (P≤0.01). Also, the results of structural equations showed that the professional development and knowledge sharing behavior with path coefficients of 0.61 and 0.28, respectively explain 37 and 8 percent of the variance of the acceptance of educational innovations among faculty members. According to the results, professional development and the motivation of faculty members to share their knowledge plays an important role in accepting of educational innovations. Manuscript profile

This research is conducted to provide a model for institutionalizing innovation management in education for universities and higher education institutions of the country. For this purpose, based on the research literature, a list of dimensions and components of innovation management in the field of education of Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, has been prepared. The present study has been quantitative and qualitative in terms of data type and in terms of collecting data has been descriptive survey. In the quantitative section, a sample of 285 faculty members was selected through random-stratified sampling method from the faculty members of Islamic Azad University, Tehran Research and Science Branch. According to the official statistics of Islamic Azad University, 1100 students were in the academic year 2018-2019. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data. The formal validity of the questionnaires was investigated and confirmed by the experimental implementation and judgment of experts, and the construct validity through factor analysis. The reliability of the questionnaire was also calculated by Cronbach's alpha coefficient (89.0). To analyze the data, SPSS and AMOS software was used and to provide the final model of the research, modeling of measuring was used and for fitting model in the structural equation modeling technique, statistical tests including exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis and Kendall's tau test were used. The following results were obtained and 9 dimensions, 40 components and 50 indicators were extracted. Manuscript profile
