        A model for life skills of digital generation in Iran (High school level). The study has been done to promote life skills of the digital generation. The purpose of this study is exploratory and its method is descriptive survey. Key factors of life skills have been determined on the basis of the review of related literature. Then a questionnaire has been created in 10 scales, its content validity has been confirmed according to educational experts. After modification, the revised questionnaire has been conducted in Tehran’s high schools. Sample population is both female and male students of high school as well as their teachers. Sampling is based on stratified multistage. Collected data has been analyzed through factor analysis, one sample t-test, paired t-test, Friedman test. According to the results life skills including personal skills, media and information literacy, 21st century literacy. Manuscript profile

        In many developed countries the retail banking has been engaged with the use of social networks such as face book, you tube, etc so that the banks will be able to communicate with the bulk of their customers who are mainly from the digital generation in a tangible space to this generation which is the virtual world. The importance of virtual environments such as second life has been so remarkable that we confront the creation and introduction the new currencies like linden dollar, bit coin, etc which have challenged the common currencies in the world. In this article three impacts regarding the opportunity of entering to the world of social media are being discussed that might be fruitful for the banks willing to change and involving the virtual areas desired by the digital generation. The use and gratification theory is being considered in this article and the author tries to adapt the theory to the opportunity of utilizing the social media in banking services. The goal of the research is reaching the customers of digital generation. Does the use of social media cause the reaching to digital generation customers? Does this use reduce the cost of finding new customers? Does it regain the confidence of digital generation customers? The research method is explorative dealing with library studies on social media and providing bank services considering the use and gratification theory. The findings show that using social media in providing bank services to the digital generation customers will lead to reaching these customers, reducing costs, and regaining the confidence.   Manuscript profile

        This study is about life skills of digital generation and its purpose is exploratory and the method is descriptive survey. Key aspects of life skills have been identified according to the review of literature in the world and Iran as follows cognitive skills, health skills, technology and information skills, media literacy, environment literacy, life and work skills also cultural and spiritual. On the basis of the identified elements a questionnaire has been developed on 1o scales which its content validity has been estimated α: 0. 973 regarding to views and opinions of educational experts, and its reliability has been estimated 0. 973 by conducting among 40 people as a pilot. Then the necessary revision has been done. At next step, the revised questionnaire has been conducted between high school students as well as teachers in order to determine elements of life skills. Sampling is based on stratified multistage and statistical population was high school and vocational female students and their teachers in Tehran. Collected data has been analyzed through factor analysis, one sample t-test, Friedman test. Findings show there is a significant difference between states que and desired conditions of teaching life skills and prioritizing of these skills including personal skills α: 0. 965, media and information literacy α: 0. 918, economic literacy α: 0. 893, and 21st literacy α: 0. 877.
