There is no accurate description of a kind of "biological classification"in the Holy Qur’ān and the Old Testament. Moreover, in contrast to thebiological texts, Qur’ān and the Old Testament do not aim at scientificcategorization of creatures, and therefore it seems that their verses arethe reflection of their addressees’ knowledge of the nature. Both thesebooks have similar attitudes toward creatures– particularly plants– andperhaps these similarities are rooted in their same revelatory origin orthe similar cultural background of their prophets and their addressees. However, the Qur’ān’s description of creatures is more elaborate thanthat of the Old Testament. Therefore, only through logical deductions from the verses of HolyQur’ān, the Old Testament and their interpretations one can talk aboutthe "biological classification" according to these two scriptures. Thisessay tries to give an account of such classification and to comparetheir similarities and discrepancies. This leads us to this conclusion:The cosmology of the holy scriptures basically differ from theviewpoints of the Greek philosophers. Manuscript profile

By sciences advance, a part of the scientific secrets applied in Holy Qur'an is revealed and unwrapped. One of those subjects that has been the focus of astrophysicists is the Dark Matter and the dark energy which is shared by almost all scientists. Dark matter exists in a mass around the galaxy which is not visible through a telescope. The characteristics of the Dark Matter can be proved indirectly by gravitational effects on visible, irradiated and large-scale matter. In the first Verse of Ma’edeh surah, Quran expresses the mentioned scientific truth by including the words “and (Allah) Creates darkness and light”. Interpreters such as Allameh Tabataba'i, Javadi Amoli and Ragheb Esfahani have forged in the abovementioned Verse as creation. It’s obvious that darkness and light are creatures such as all existing creatures. Thus the present article seeks to express that Dark Matter in the Quran could be one of the scientific manifestations of Divine Book. Manuscript profile

Mystics throughout history often have had different and sometimes contradictory approaches compared to philosophers and theologians. Although 'Eyn ol-Qozāt Hamedāni is mostly famous in mysticism, he has deep and outstanding views in philosophy and theology, too. The purpose of the present study is to recognize his philosophical, mystical, and theological principles in the field of ontology using descriptive analysis. The results showed that he has talked in two realms of intuitive perception as well as transferring that to proposition in order to understand the insight and knowledge acquired directly and without any medium just through reason and argumentation. Besides, he has always been a pioneer in proposing new ideas such as manifestation of unit in the universe and unity of existence, correlation between body and soul in human study, using interpretation immensely to understand Qur'anic verses, disobedience of Iblis in refuting to bow down to Adam, and attributing that to true love to the eternal beloved and the process of divine destiny. His philosophical and theological outlook has manifested in his books, especially Tamhidāt, Letters, and Zobdat al-Haqāeq.   Manuscript profile

Supernatural forces are special forces that exist potentially in humans, animals, and even objects, and under certain circumstances, give rise to incredible actions the root of which must be sought in ancient times . Must be searched. In ancient myths, these supernatural beings compensate for the inadequacies and shortcomings of kings and heroes in achieving the goal. Belief in these forces can be seen in ancient and remarkable masterpieces such as Gilgamesh, The Shahnameh, Ramayana, Iliad and Odyssey. Therefore, the present study examines supernatural beings in two valuable ancient epics: The Shahnameh and Gilgamesh. This research has been done by descriptive-analytical method and the authors seek to find out in which epic the influence of supernatural forces is more evident. The results show that supernatural beings and creatures in Shahnameh are superior to the epic of Gilgamesh in terms of diversity, role and function, so that some of these creatures and animals have played a fundamental and important role in the epic and national process of the work. “Myth” doesn’t have any minute, comprehensive and complete definitions. The scholars have provided different definitions for that. Because in the past, writing wasn’t common and the myths and stories have quoted by fathers for their children. Myth refers to historical stories and adventures of ancient and pre-historical times. From old times till now, myth had a particular place in people’s mind and language and people have believed that owning myths will be an approval for their power and supremacy over their neighbors and competitors. In Shahnameh and myths the symbolic and allegorical role of many creatures possesses sense and exposed will. These creatures are the same as human beings regarding their creation; but what makes them different is their appearance. In myths, specially Shahnameh, Rakhsh Simurgh, dragons, and soon have personality appearance; it means the braves. Can speak to them. They sometimes, show the way to the braves and sometimes prevent them from going along. Fersowsi has created the most beautiful imagery in Shahnameh by using personification and allegory. AbstractArchetypes are relics of thousands of years and a common heritage that has been passed down from generation to generation over the centuries. Our Iranian ancestors, like people around the world, were subconsciously in touch with them. One of these collective patterns is the mirror, which was not the only means of seeing the face; it was associated with spirit, life, future, witchcraft and divinity. According to the book The Wonders of Creatures and Garshasb nameh, the mirror is sometimes a mediator between the earth and the sky, and sometimes the truth-tellers are aware of the secrets. Sometimes the mirror is the window of the soul, sometimes the soul is manifested in it. We know that human life and movement depend on the soul. Blood also makes life possible in the human body and, from the point of view of ancient peoples, accommodates the souls of beings. The ancient people understood the importance of this vital substance and tried in every way to prevent its destruction and consequently damage to their souls. And in various forms such as; Shadows, intellect, subconscious, solar force, reflection of the world, spirit of life, connection between earth and sky, etc. appear. A better understanding of the ancient and the subconscious leads to a better understanding of our people and a better connection with the hidden half of our being and a new window into the inside. 9 - Comparison of evil in Shahname and Mathnavi

Considering God as the creator of evil, we have distanced from the inherent and attributive monotheism. Also, distinguishing the creator of good and bad from each other, we have violated the unity of divine acts. It can be understood from the content of Shahname and Masnavi that Ferdowsi and Rumi view evil from two perspectives to solve this mystery. The first perspective is holistic and analyzes the relation of evil to God based on the creator and creature relationship and concludes that every creature has been created according to a reason and no evil is real in the universe. From the second perspective, the relation of creatures with each other is examined and the type of human’s look and knowledge determines the good and evil of the creatures. On the other hand, good and evil are relative issues and what human calls evil is considered good in the entire universe. From this viewpoint, it is impossible to perceive a world better than the current world. These interpretations are in line with the mystical view of Rumi that calls the world “impermanent” and that of Ferdowsi that views the universe a “temporary house”. In Ferdowsi’s worldview, deriving evil from good is intellectually implausible, and according to Rumi’s romantic attitude, God does not create inherent evil because of beneficence. However, Ferdowsi believes it is possible to recognize relative evil by wisdom, but Rumi contends it is not possible to understand through wisdom the reason why evil has been created. This study is aimed at providing evidence from Shahname and Mathnavi, showing that Ferdowsi and Rumi, despite different viewpoints about the aim of creation of evil and the tools to recognize it, have similar perspectives about the creator and relativity of evil.   Manuscript profile

Abstract         Symbol, in the domain of Persian literature, especially poetry, has hundreds of years background and has been used the same as ideogram in Farsi. One of the most important manifestations of symbol in Persian poetry has been embodied in fabulous and mythical creatures which required a symbolic outlook at them. Manifestation of this figure, in the whole poetry of Shokat Bokharaee, for his usage of these symbols to express his enigmatic and mystic ideas, is of higher frequencies. There are 114 distiches in his Diwan which deal with fabulous and mystical creatures. The intentional usage of this kind of writing is being strengthened because it is scarcely seen  in the books of other poets. Therefore we investigated it to clarify its accuracy and inaccuracy. We hope that this article be an introduction for the scholars' intention to look at the matter from another perspective about our great homeland poet. Manuscript profile
