The present study investigated the effect of group logo therapy training on frustration and aggression of male high school students. The study employed a semi experimental method and a pretest- posttest with control group design. The population included all male high school students in Boroojerd city (2013-2014). Research instruments were Beck Hopelessness Scale (1988) and Ahvaz Aggression Questionnaire (Zahedi far, Najjarian and Shokrkon, (1379) S.c. 30 participants who had high scores on frustration in Beck Hopelessness Scale and on aggression in Ahvaz Aggressive Questionairein were Selected randomly and again randomly assigned into one experimental group (15 students) and one control group (15 students). The experimental group received the training and after two weeks both Beck Hopelessness Scale and Ahvaz Aggression Questionnaire were administered to experimental and control groups at the post test stage. Data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). The results indicated that there are signification differences between the experimental and control groups in frustration and aggression scales (P < 0.001) The results indicate that the use of group Logo therapy training can be effective in reducing frustration and aggression in male high school students. The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of stress and egocentricity on depression and aggression mediated by emotion regulation difficulties. The statistical population of this study was adults (20-60 years old) in Isfahan in 2017 and 700 participants were selected by convenience sampling method. The measures consisted of Aggression questionnaire (Bryant & Smith, 2001), the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (Gratz & Roemer, 2004), the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scales (Lovibond & Lovibond, 1995), Psychopathic Personality Inventory-Revised (Sörman, 2016), Symptom Checklist-90- Revised (Derogatis, 1997). The structural equations modeling, Bootstrapping, and analysis of variance method have been used for data analysis. The results confirmed the direct effect of egocentricity on difficulties in Emotion Regulation and aggression. The results showed the direct effect of stress on Emotion Regulation difficulties and depression. Emotion Regulation difficulties have a direct effect on depression and aggression. The mediating analysis showed that stress has an indirect effect on depression mediated by difficulty in emotion regulation. Results highlight the role of emotion regulation difficulties and poverty in the prevalence and persistence of depression and aggression. Manuscript profile
