        Introduction: This study was conducted with the aim of providing a model for the appointment of managers with an emphasis on talent management in the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. Methods: This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of method and a qualitative-quantitative research in terms of tools. Data were collected in three stages: model design, synthesis of studies, selection of desirable criteria of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, and conducted among 351 managers and staff of medical universities. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data using SPSS and Amos software version 18. Results: The appointment of managers with emphasis on talent management in the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education is examined in 5 dimensions. The variable of talent development with a standard coefficient of 0.981 is the highest rank and respectively the maintenance of talent with a standard coefficient of 0.944 in the second rank and the use of talent with a standard coefficient of 0.934 in the third rank and the recruitment of talented people with a standard coefficient of 0.876 is in the fourth rank and identification and segregation of talented employees with a standard coefficient of 0.649 is in the fifth rank. Conclusion: In present study model of appointing managers by considering talent management in five dimensions of talent development, talent retention, talent utilization, recruitment of talented and identification and segregation of talented employees for policies and decisions managers' is presented.   Manuscript profile

        Introduction: The importance of speed, synergy, and efficiency in service delivery has made the network paradigm the dominant paradigm for many government agencies, including the health care system. The purpose of the present study is to present a model of network performance evaluation in network governance of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.Methods: This was a qualitative content analysis study. Semi-structured interviews with exploratory orientation were conducted with 14 experts from the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. These were selected by purposive sampling. Content validity of extracted themes was 0.90. Reliability between the two coders was 87%.Results: After six stages of content analysis, 52 basic themes and five organizing themes (competency development of 10 themes, effective planning of 7 themes, flexibility of structure and process of 13 themes, realization of goals of 12 themes, effective accountability of 11 themes, effective accountability of 11 themes). Network rule was designed.Conclusion: In evaluating the performance of network governance, accountability and system stability are the most important factors. Health managers and policymakers can use the model provided in developing performance appraisal indicators.  Manuscript profile

        The purpose of the present study is to review the role of the sanitation ministry for culture creation and prevention of non-contagious diseases related to inactivity in the country with an emphasis on physical activity. The current research is a descriptive survey and it has a developmental and somehow practical objective. The statistical population of the research consisted of 600 specialists of medical science and MA experts at Iran Medical Science, Shahid Beheshti, and Tehran Universities. Simple random sampling was used to determine 234 members by Morgan Table as the research sample. A researcher-made questionnaire was used for data collection. Content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed and its reliability was calculated to be 0.71 by Cronbach Alpha Coefficient. The results showed that the ministry of health and medical education does not yet have a comprehensive plan and policy to prevent inactivity related diseases through encouraging physical activity. Moreover, the most important factors in line with betterment of the culture of physical activity to prevent inactivity diseases were determined by the ministry of sanitation, health, and medical education.  The Ministry of sanitation, health, and medical education as well as the ministry of sport and youth should take steps to boost physical activity and improve health in society by collaboration, encouragement policies, and culture creation strategies.   Manuscript profile

        AbstractObjective: Awareness of the values of physical activity affects the voluntary quality of students' personality and the level of their desire to succeed, and the positive attitude of students towards physical activity is an effective factor in the formation of a healthy lifestyle, intellectual abilities, and also the important characteristics of the profession. is The purpose of the current research is to explain the factors that shape the improvement of students' social status through sports activities: a case study of medical students.Methodology: The current research is of a mixed type, in terms of the purpose of the developmental-applicative type, the plan of its implementation is sequential-exploratory, and it was carried out in two parts, qualitative and quantitative. The statistical population of the research in the qualitative part includes the assistant professors of physical education of the universities of medical sciences in the country, professors with books or research in the field of student sports, high-ranking people of the National Federation of University Sports, and for the quantitative part of the research, all students of medical sciences universities throughout Iran as a community were studied. The sampling method in the qualitative part included the purposeful sampling method (deliberate or judgmental), and the sampling was done using the snowball technique until the theoretical saturation was reached; which was obtained after interviewing 19 people. In the quantitative part, cluster random method was used and finally 400 people were selected as a sample. The data collection tool was used in the qualitative part of the semi-structured, in-depth and exploratory interview; The research audit was done with the methods of believability, transferability, reliability and verifiability. To analyze the data, open, axial and selective coding was used. However, in the quantitative part, a researcher-made questionnaire from the qualitative part of the tool was used. Content validity was measured and confirmed by 10 expert professors in a corrective manner and in accordance with the objectives, and the reliability of the questionnaire was estimated through Cronbach's alpha. Maxqda, SPSS and Amos software were used for the analysis.Results: The results showed that the codes extracted from the interview in 6 main categories are equal to 191 codes, the causal conditions are equal to 7 components and 27 codes, the central phenomenon is equal to 3 components and 11 extracted codes, the background conditions are equal to With 7 components and 36 extracted codes, intervention conditions are equal to 8 components and 41 extracted codes, strategic conditions are equal to 8 components and 43 codes, and consequential conditions are equal to 5 components and 24 extracted codes. Also, the results of structural equation modeling showed that the causal factors on the central phenomenon (r=0.84); the central phenomenon on strategic factors (r=0.75); background factors over strategic factors (r=0.29); Interfering factors have a positive and significant effect on strategic factors (r=0.55) and strategic factors on outcome factors (r=0.28) (p≥0.05).Conclusion: The development of university sports can guarantee the health of students and one of the effective factors in the development of sports in the country. Accordingly, the role of universities is important for the development of sports in the country. Identifying the platforms and factors for the development of sports in universities, especially universities of medical sciences, in addition to improving the health of students, improves the social status of students. What seems to be very important and necessary is the formulation of macro goals, policies and implementation strategies of university sports for students of medical sciences universities in a targeted manner and in accordance with the fourth development plan and the comprehensive system of physical education and sports. be the country Finally, by applying this model, we can hope that a tremendous change will be achieved in the field of improving the social status of medical students.         Background and purpose: sustainable knowledge is an emerging issue and has received wide attention in the health care sector of the country in recent decades. The purpose of this research is to validation of sustainable knowledge model based on human resources in the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education. Research method: The method of this research is content analysis. The statistical population included experts and specialists in the field of human resources management in the Ministry of Health, Medical Education, and academic staff members of the university, who were interviewed by snowball sampling method in the number of 20 people until theoretical saturation in a semi-structured way. After collecting data, MAXQDA 2020 software was used. Interpretive structural modeling was used to validate the model. Findings: The findings showed that the sustainable knowledge model includes 6 main categories (improving work life in order to improve knowledge, support for knowledge expansion, realism for knowledge sharing, trust building for knowledge dissemination, social commitment in order to apply knowledge and competence in line with the development of knowledge) and 19 subcategories. Among the 19 sub-categories, ISM findings showed that the two components of social competence and love of work form the cornerstone of the model. Conclusion: Undoubtedly, focusing on sustainable knowledge in the health sector is inevitable. The Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education must analyze the dimensions of sustainable knowledge in order to achieve success in the field of health. Manuscript profile

        Objective: The present study performed in a descriptive method investigates the status of providing services in dissertations and thesis section of libraries affiliated to Ministry of Health and Medical Education in Tehran; Methodology: The population of the research consisted of 36 libraries including: 11 libraries affiliated to Tehran University of Medical Sciences, 10 libraries affiliated Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, 10 libraries affiliated to Iran University of Medical Sciences and 5 libraries affiliated to Islamic Azad University, Medical Sciences branch. The aim of this study is to find the answer to 7 major questions regarding the study of the status of services provided in dissertations and theses section of the above-mentioned libraries, including the space and allocated location (to keep the dissertations), organization (indexing,…), professional staff, computer and software facilities for the retrieval of information, current facilities to make dissertations and theses accessible (databases and published indexes). The instrument for data collection in this research is questionnaire (consisted of 24 open-ended and multiple-choice questions) completed by the heads or the staff of dissertations and theses sections. In order to analyze the data, statistical software, SPSS, has been used. Findings: The study results show that regarding the space and the location, 50 percent of the mentioned libraries have allocated a separate section for the dissertation and theses and the other 50, percent lacked such a separate place. 9 libraries (32, 2 percent) kept other faculty's dissertations and theses, but not 67, 8 percent. Among174 staff working in the studied libraries’ dissertations and theses section, 100 persons (57/4 percent) are non-librarian, a major shortcoming for this section, which leads to organizing the dissertations and theses inappropriately and not being able to provide proper services to the clients of this section. Also, considering the manner of organizing and indexing, 82 percent of the studied libraries have performed these processes and 17/8 percent has not done that yet. About the computer facilities, this study indicates that in most of Tehran, Shahid Beheshti and Islamic Azad University of Medical Sciences faculties, computer facilities are available and only most of Iran University of Medical Sciences faculties lack these ones. 22 libraries (78/5 percent) have any software facilities in their dissertations and theses section and 21/4 percent of these sections lack any software facilities. So, based on these findings it can be claimed that most of the studied faculty libraries are relatively in an acceptable status. 75 percent of these libraries conveyed that their dissertations and theses available to all Students form state, Azad, Payam-e-Noor and… Universities. In 17.8 percent of them, the dissertations and theses are only available to the students and faculty members of their affiliated universities. And 7/14 libraries have mentioned they only give dissertation services to the students of state universities.     Manuscript profile

        Purpose: This study aims to identify the status of the input, processing and output of information flow in the research centers affiliated to the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education and recognize the influencing factors and technical obstacles which make significant decrease in information flow. Methodology: The research is an applied research and survey method was used. The population consisted of research assistants, managers of affiliated research centers, heads of academic library administrators and faculty members in 62 research centers affiliated to the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education. The data collection tool was a questionnaire. After confirming its validity and reliability, 306 questionnaires were distributed between researchers. Finally, 222 (72/55%) of the questionnaires were returned. Findings: The overall status of information flow in the research centers, in the "collection and use" stage was appropriate and in the "production and storage", and the "dissemination" stages were inappropriate. In the "collection and use" stage, electronic forms were used more than printed formats and in the "production and storage" and the "dissemination" stages, printed forms were used more than electronic forms. Conclusion: The results of the study may be helpful to the managers of research centers in planning to improve the national and international information flow, use of information, skilled manpower and funds to support research.
