        Background and Objective: This study was conducted to identify the components ofsustainable secondary education in sustainable development and provide a desirable model.Materials and Methodology: The research method of this research is a combined method andconsecutive exploratory type. The statistical population in the qualitative stage was experts inthe field of secondary education and senior education managers who were purposefullyidentified through a snowball sampling method of 12 people. Also, for data collection, semistructured interviews, theoretical background examinations and previous researches were usedin a harmonized manner. In the quantitative stage and following the qualitative stage with theaim of implementing a questionnaire and confirming the qualitative components to present thefinal model of a statistical population of 300 people 170 people were used as a statistical samplethrough stratified random sampling using Krejcie and Morgan table . The obtained data wereanalyzed in the quantitative part of the research using factor analysis.Results: Research findings in the form of a model with 14 effective dimensions including:environmental management, social sustainability, educational sustainability, politicalsustainability, participatory sustainability, institutional resilience, development education,environmental sustainability, sustainable management, research sustainability, sustainabilityEconomic, sustainable monitoring and evaluation system, sustainable administrative andfinancial system and cultural sustainability.Conclusion: Sustainability education is always related to environmental health education, inwhich human behavior affects the environment, so a healthy or detrimental environment forsurvival and coexistence between different living organisms on Earth is created Manuscript profile
