  The purpose of this study is to show the stories of the Qur'an. Most of the stories in the Qur'an, known in the art of modern literary fiction, somewhat analysis and evaluation. In fiction today, and following design elements such as color, event, character, said-dialogue, narration, scene, there are other viewpoints and themes constituting the structure and content of a story. "Character element" role in the stories of the Quran, one of the major axes of the story is considered.   گرچه هدفمندی سوره­ها با تدبر تصدیق می­گردد، اما همچون برخی از مباحث جدید علوم قرآنی با مخالفت­ها و موافقت­های بسیاری مواجه شده است. ازآنجاکه قصص قرآن در بطن سوره واقع گردیده، با اثبات هدفمندی هر سوره و ارتباط هدف اصلی سوره با قصص عنوان‌شده، نتایج مطلوبی حاصل می­گردد. همچون پاسخ به چرایی تکرار و پراکندگی برخی از قصه­ها در قرآن، علت ایجاز و یا تفصیل برخی از داستان­ها و از همه مهم‌تر، پاسخی به شبهه مستشرقان و هم‌رأیان ایشان که تکرار را نتیجه غیر وحیانی بودن قرآن می­دانند و درنهایت این مسئله را اثبات می­نماید که ساختار قصه­ها تابعی از اغراض سوره­ها هستند. در این راستا، داستان حضرت ابراهیم (ع) در سور مختلف بررسی شد اما به جهت رعایت اختصار تنها در سور «بقره، انعام، مریم، حجر و ممتحنه» به تفصیل بیان شده است و ارتباط داستان و محور سوره در سایر سور در ضمن جدول ارائه گردیده است. با نظر به پژوهش صورت گرفته می­توان گفت: قصه­های قرآنی به‌عنوان بخش اعظمی از آیات قرآن، در راستای هدف و غرض سوره تکرار شده و بجای نقل منسجمِ داستان در یک سوره، تصاویر بُرش خورده از یک داستان به‌صورت پراکنده در راستای هدف مزبور در سوره­ها مطرح‌شده‌اند.
