        Background and Purpose: Nowadays, Public green spaces in urban areas are the only shelters that soften life of urbanites and reduce the problems of machinism age. Urban parks through their diverse functions such as ecological, social, cultural, economic and psychological functions have important role in improving the quality of citizen's life. One of the factors that affect function and efficiency of urban parks are process of palnning and quality of designing. On this basis, main purpose of this study is pathology of planning and designing of urban parks. Method: the case study is Eram Park in Sabzevar. The methodology used in this study is a descriptive –analytical method. The sources of date gathering are including documentary method in theoretical foundations and related literature and also the data obtained from survey studies (observation and photography of study area). Results: Findings indicated that in designing of Eram Park various aspects such as designing of entrances, readability and identification, pattern of planting, parking spaces, usage of materials for pavement, attention to features and needs of specific social groups, such as women, children and the disabled, and the need for social monitoring of park space have not been taken into account. Conclusion: Finally, it was proposed to pay more attention to the qualitative and quantitative criteria in planning, specially in designing of public green spaces and urban parks.   Manuscript profile

        Appropriate distribution of urban green spaces is very important to increase of spatial justice in the cities. City of Ardabil is among the cities that faced with the problem of the imbalance in the distribution of public parks and green spaces. The per capita public green space in the city of Ardabil is 7.30 square meters. This amount is lower than the green space standards of the United Nations Environment Program (20 to 25 square meters per person) and lowers than the standards of Iran’s urban green spaces (12 square meters). This study by using of 9 key indicators has ranked 44 neighborhoods of the Ardabil city in terms of access to the parks and public green spaces. Research data gathered from the Ardabil City Municipality Department of Parks and Green Spaces and in the next step, have been corrected by using of field study in the year 2016. Multi-criteria decision-making methods, including TOPSIS, VIKOR, SAW and COPLAND have been used for analyzing, ranking and integration of final results. The findings of this research show that in terms of public green space indicators, 14 neighborhoods of the city are developed, 15 neighborhoods are semi developed and 15 neighborhoods of the city are poor in access to the appropriate public green spaces.         Women’s sense of social security is one of those important issues which occupy a prominent position in the feminist approaches. Along with the development of human societies, there have arisen diverse questions and controversies about women’s sense of social security. For example, can a woman lead a free life without fear in today’s world? In recent years, various studies have been conducted throughout the world, including Iran. Considering this necessity, the current study seeks to investigate those components that are influential on women’s sense of social security in public green spaces. The methodology used is descriptive-analytical and it is practical in terms of its purpose. The sample size consists of 165 female persons. They have been selected randomly. Apart from descriptive statistics, Gamma and Lambda correlations tests as well as Pearson and Regression tests were utilized for analyzing the data. The results indicated that women’s sense of social security in Niavaran Park is relatively strong. Nonetheless, the main argument focuses on the determination of influential components. The findings showed that the social capital with 0.69 and groupism with 0.19 regression coefficients had the lowest and the highest impact on the women’s sense of social security in Niavaran Park respectively. Furthermore, factors like age (0.36), education (0.53) and financial situation (0.35) had a positive relationship with women’s sense of social security. Generally, women’s security in society falls under the influence of social and environmental conditions on one hand and socio-economic base of the family on the other hand. Manuscript profile
